Got any advice for growing the gg#4 strains?Hey Everyone! Happy to announce new strain drops today!!! Available on the 12/12 webstore!!
Rainbow Belts x Gorilla Glue #4 (Fem)
Gorilla Gluten (Fem)
Josh D OG x Gorilla Glue #4 (Fem)
Red Froot x Gorilla Glue #4 (Fem)
I would treat them like any normal fem plant!Got any advice for growing the gg#4 strains?
Do you repot, or grow them like autos in one big pot?
Redbag is a perfect strain to grow 12/12 from seed and in my experience the yield wont be much different with veg time as it's going to fill the space nicely. Redbag always branches out generously and grows to about ~4 feet tall in 12/12 making a fairly even canopy while allowing *some* light penetration, 2-3 plants will easily fill a 2x4, but we've stuffed 6-8 in that same size space with similar results - what I am saying is it's hard to go wrong either way.Redbag

Edit: I think the yield will depend more on your light+environmentals than whether or not you veg![]()
In the case of Redbag, I would say there is no need to LST or Top. Atleast, I never did. She will reach the 4 foot height THT mentioned 12/12 from seed. From a nutrient perspective I always recommend running the nutes slightly higher as Ive observed that plants in 12/12 light from seed do better considering when they flip. But otherwise there's no special treatment or considerations for 12/12 from seed.LST instead of topping?
My question is unless you have extremely low ceiling height, why would you ever run seeds from 12/12, clones yes, I would never, especially feminized seeds run 12/12 from germination. What's the upside? None!!In the case of Redbag, I would say there is no need to LST or Top. Atleast, I never did. She will reach the 4 foot height THT mentioned 12/12 from seed. The biggest benefit of 12/12 from seed is a shorter grow cycle (few weeks) with very little difference in the end yield. My question is unless you have extremely low ceiling height, why would you ever run seeds from 12/12, clones yes, I would never, especially feminized seeds run 12/12 from germination. @Chefdave one upside would be less electric used due to no 18/6 veg cycle. Also some sativa dominant strains do really well with no veg cycle, just straight flower cycle from germination. My question is unless you have extremely low ceiling height, why would you ever run seeds from 12/12, clones yes, I would never, especially feminized seeds run 12/12 from germination. Same can be achieved with better results and faster timeframe with clones without all the risks of intersex traits and potential stress related issuesThe biggest benefit of 12/12 from seed is a shorter grow cycle (few weeks) with very little difference in the end yield.
