A Shed With A Valley View 2026

what do you do if we do happen to get another freeze? cover them with straw or something similar? i'm getting antsy about getting the tomatos/peppers out in the g'house after I patch the roof this weekend
I ask for a little snow to cover them first. 😉

I got some insect mesh to protect from hail that I'll put up after I transplant out, possibly next weekend.

Thinned out the dog pen patch by 70-80%.

Possible snow on monday but target is shifting mid 70's last couple days, I've been watering the Zug seedlings. Ended up something like 9/13 but one location has 2. I knew some seeds were missing when I got to 10 and didn't have any more in my hand 🙃.

Getting excited for this hash run, gonna add a 73u bag and use the 25u on the buchner bucket.

Lokking like 10 weeks for the Gorilla Bubble f2s which is not unexpected, I was just hoping to speed it up a little.

Gonna run a clone of no.2 for next round. Organic bloom booster at about week 5 and 8 and foliar calcium veg - early flower. Considering mamoth p for a targeted microbial aproach. I'll probably also end up with an inverted temperature differential.

I've switched the Funeral Cookies seed plants to water mixable organics (build a bloom) about a week and a half ago because I switched the res to plain water for the GB.

i have prior to culling instagram noticed a,reputable grower that sells lights and generally seems like a straighr shooter mention they were doing trials at hus commercial grow and they were using far reds for 30 mins before lights on and 30 mins after lights went off. Eg. Far red kicked in only in those times. And he was reporting in those tests that his crops were finiahing a week earlier. Those crops he had run repeatedly from his own mother room. Miami mango was the fella.
food for thought? Might help the gorilla bubble finish up earlier for you????
Who knows, one thing ive learnt is irrespective on my own experience there is more than one route to the city.
As usual looking good indoors too.

I've come to realize what my plants need is patience. I'm sure photo trigger works too. Good seein' ya Frost.

The Funeral Cookies seeds are done enough to serve the purpose, a few immature ones but given the timing I'm gonna chop em, put em in the fridge overnight before going to the freezer for hash.

Gonna give the GB just a few more days, probably chop this weekend. I found one seed, I'd be surprised if that was all but if it is I'll be stoked to have a way to make seeds and not have a totally seperate space.

Everything is in the freezer, cleaning the room and equipment today hashmaking tomorrow.

Not stellar but not awful either, plenty of biomass with plenty of frost but the bud structure was lacking. I think its too much N so I've got a plan for next round to foliar Ca and Fe, the two other nutrients in Kalix base that were imo deficient at labeled rates. Cutting N by reducing base hopefully won't undo the foliar appliacations.
