A Shed With A Valley View 2026

The dry is going as well as could be expected just been a matter of adjusting to the temp as long as it's an acceptable vpd. I'll adjust the dehumidifier between 0.6 and 0.9 if temps go above 65F vpd gets dropped or air supply gets cut depending on what its doing outside. The other day when it was raining and warm it was better to shut the air off.

Making a few changes to the irrigation system and fertigation strategy. Gonna be a lot of small changes but most notable are realtime media readings and a peristaltic pump for ml accuracy, also incorporating the impello line and mammoth p. Should be no surprise I'm a homer for CO.

Resisted mamoth p until now but after listening to Dr. Bell I've changed my mindset about true benificial microbial diversity. The impello line is mostly to try dune. As good as GG MSA works I think it imparts something to the flower. I'd call it a clean smell like a monogomized terpene profile, it clicked on me from several years ago when I helped out in a grow that used it.

i did mammoth for along time and i also agree i really liked the owners video pn what he explained. Very interesting species in mammoth p. I might try em again in future

do you aerate your res with GFF in it ? It's been a minute since I used it and getting some foam in the res. Not sure if I've ever used it with the 5/2 powder though. I'll put some pics up in my feed. flowers forming now

It’s suggested to readd ur dosage every 2-4 days if u have an aerated rez . I also add it right before use of my rez vs adding it right when u add ur nutes and not using it yet. For example it’s bettter to add all ur nutes, ph adjust and than add the microbes and if your not using it till later add it than. Some don’t and tribus and mammoth said h can add when u add nutes, ph for ease to ur employees but suggested if u got a stored rez to readd depending on who it was saying every 2-4 days

Dude if you know how to grow with salts, I'm finding all the extra stuff is a waste of money, if I were a homegrower I would spend my money on proper ac and dehumidifiers vs additives or anything else. Everything in the past 20 yrs we were told how to grow is b.s. and people still follow it. You only need good base salts and maybe a pk booster for weeks 3 through 6. I'm going to go to just monosilicic acid in veg through week 2 of flower and just AN Cultivator series. This is after I bought thousands of dollars worth of heavy 16 additives. The best commercial growers in the country craft farmer, fiya farmer, jungle boys, etc use Athena salts and some type of cal hypo as a line cleaner. That's it. Growing weed is simple with a proper controllable environment. There are genie's in a bottle, the genie in the bottle is being able to control your environment and your plants. Just a thought, believe me in my 40 yrs of growing, I've been through it all, bought it all. Precision in fertigation and environment are the keys to maximize genetic potential.

Saying microbes are “worthless” is an opinion, not a scientifically defensible position. You’re confusing “some microbial products are overpriced or poorly supported” with “microbes have no value.” Those are completely different claims.


And economically, the argument is even weaker. In a high-value specialty crop, you don’t need a microbial product to increase yield by 20% for it to pay for itself. If a properly selected, evidence-backed inoculant costs $X/acre and produces even a modest improvement in marketable yield, quality, nutrient efficiency, or crop consistency worth more than $X, it has a positive ROI. That’s basic farm economics.


The question isn’t “Do microbes work?”—some clearly do in the right crop and conditions. The question is which organism, at what rate, under what conditions, and does the return exceed the cost? Dismissing the entire category as “worthless” without doing that analysis is economically lazy as well as scientifically weak.

SABF is 1-2ml to 10 gallons and 98% concentrated. Liquid versions like SABF I would suggest fridge em and that’ll keep shelf life longer .

Saying growing with salts and automated fertigation. For organics microbial interaction and enhancement is crucial and very cost effective, not the case for salts especially at scale
 
How’s the sales of commerical grown weed in usa . Sucess ? 90% failing and Having to take the hit cause the quality sucks. There’s a dif in cheap and growers who have no qc control and process and cure is trash. That’s current market or over priced . It’s not just my state it’s def whole usa and the states with such great profit it’s only cause of no competition and newly made red with no competition. It’s gonnea happen and the qc at those states is a joke

Plus ur acting like being a good farmer will prove sales, it’s all about who u know vs what u know.define craft farmer lol cause these more famous labels it’s just connection and collab circle jerking to get their shit sold and also issue is even like Cali is most states many clubs and distro they gate keep the need of fronts and many times will play gate keeping of what really sells no matter what the quality or how good u grow. To prove my point Cali last week signed a bill to make it mandatory the distro/club has to pay within a certain amount of time vs many would play the I’ll maybe pay ya when I get fully sold or never.

It’s always funny when these far off states or new countries think they will be in a forever mad profits like Covid and 10 years ago. it’s gonnea be that 1% and all state to state soon 😉. The dif is I grow cause I like to. It’s not about being commerical and even these dudes growing “big” in real terms of overall market it’s not really growing and this scale is a fake market till the market changes. Sure some true passionate growers like beer to wine will stay but not the un passionate dude who thinks he can make such a big profit from a plant.

Also it's totally state based, like here in MD, Connecticut, most Atlantic coast markets they thrive , the big multi state growers, but in ur state, cali , oregon, wash state, terrible failure rate, terrible shortcuts being taken and over supply

Yes I aerate with a stone. Without knowing what pump you have I'd guess its too much for providing aeration and will contribute to heating the res. The air pump contributes heat too but I don't have enough volume to use a screw style like this -

which is best at raising disolved oxygen without adding heat, it just makes a bunch of noise that I find annoying because my current configuration dosen't allow for enough water depth.

I'll come check yer thread out @rkymtnman or just post up in here. The most important thing is to start clean which is an environmental thing 😉
