Been growing nearly 20 years and have never seen growth out of a leaf stem...what gives man?

It's Barney's cookies Kush..Not had alot of luck with Barney's in the past but this was a freebie single seeds from the tude(I think). Said what the hell and popped it...Not only is that leaf stem growth weird but the entire plant is weird beastly bastard...got a bunch of smaller upright stems growing straight up beside the main stem...I'll take more pics...I was hoping someone had a explanation or had seen it before ...maybe I've found the next level super mutation Mac daddy bitch plant on the planet....hahaha she just went 12/12 two days ago..reckon I'll find out

Yeah I've had this before...somewhere on here I posted up a pic...it dies when the leaf dies as it is attached to it's petiole.

I've only had one do that and it threw balls all over It's stems . Keep an eye out . That looks like a potential yeilder , hope it's a good one man ?

I’m currently growing this strain also . So far it looks really solid . Very similar looking to yours . The clones were a little tough to get going .

I'm already assuming it's going to throw balls all over...But one never knows..Altho the odds are stacked against me my fingers stay crosses. This is one interesting plant for sure

I’m currently growing this strain also . So far it looks really solid . Very similar looking to yours . The clones were a little tough to get going .

I'm also having some trouble with the clones. They still look ok but damnit man they do not want to throw a root.. Trying three different methods just in case she a keeper

Mine did not...I'll find it later and what strain it 2as...it finished up just fine.

Update on this weird plant..So far not a single ball and she's starting with the frost..will be a heavy yield..Not real impressed with the terps..pretty generic cologne / leather/ slight citrus skunk.. probably not a keeper but she's not ruled out quite yet

Had a DosiDos do that, didn't grow balls but it yielded really well tho the weird growth didn't have large buds but it was more popcorn size. Out of 2 seeds from new420guy the other seed didn't do this so genetically it's a one off. Didn't notice it until harvest, not sure why but its pretty cool.

Speaking of Barney's...anyone ran the pineapple chunk and or worked it a lil? My buddy used to run a cut from a pheno he found that was AMAZING!!!!! His health went south and he lost it. But that pheno was a acrid frosted beast

I watch that thing like a hawk. As I do with all new things I pop from seed..When I bud out a seed run I try not to have many plants packed in a tent..I kill em the very first sign of anything goofy..I really don't care how much smoke I got..I'm looking for good phenos and that's it...I study them down like a caveman that's never seen that plant before
