back pain

Oh absolutely

Thee ol epidural 😬 yikes. It's "nails on a chalkboard" just thinking about it.

Here's my experience in a nutshell: I had really badly herniated L4/L5/S1 and had two, maybe three epidurals but I recall two specifically. The first one was GREAT, it was akin to taking a fistful of ibuprofen that lasted 6 months 👍 after that, I had another that absolutely felt like it broke me in half 😔 maybe my herniations were too far beyond that, ultimately I needed surgery/laminectomy. That was in 2016 and I've been really good ever since 👍

I fought it for a long time because the whole idea of a needle in my spine is crazy to me. Especially after all the acid I've done 🤷‍♂️😭😂 lol!

I'll say this. ... .if you trust your medical team & they're recommending it, please try it 🙏 give it your best truest effort, relax as best you can and DON'T MOVE while that thing is in you 😬😬😬 you'll be alright either way. My general understanding, they'll always go this route before officially deciding you need surgery
