BH's 2026 spring-Fall Indoor Journal

Grandpa use to say “ it’s not a fuckup if you catch it”!
100% that :sneaky::coffee:
——-
drenching next hours :

You’ve got:

  • nutrient-heavy “tea-style” inputs
  • microbial inoculants
  • predatory biology (nematodes)
  • enzymatic digestion products
  • silica + PK + cal/mag + fulvic/humic stack
That can work, but only if we simplify the roles

⚠️ Key correction (important)
In a 55 gal aerated reservoir drench system, you should separate into:

1) BASE REZ (stable chemistry)
2) “LIVE INOCULATION AT TIME OF USE”

🧪 Clean corrected structure (55 gal)
🟢 BASE RESERVOIR (can sit + bubbl
e)

Use this ONLY:
  • Impello DUNE – 60 mL
  • DIY elemental cal/mag – 1 cup
  • RAW Humic – (label rate or ~2–4 Tbsp equivalent)
  • RAW Full-Up – (label rate or ~2–4 Tbsp equivalent)
  • RAW Amino – (reduce to ~2–3 Tbsp
  • Insect Frass – 1–2 cups
  • Terp Tea Bloom – 1–1.5 cups
  • Terp Tea Microbe Charge – 1 cup
  • Super Phos Bat Guano – 1/4 cup
  • RAW Yucca – 1–2 Tbsp

⚠️ What I would NOT leave sitting in the rez long:
  • heavy enzyme loading
  • live microbial concentrates
  • nematodes

🔵 ADD RIGHT BEFORE DRENCH (CRITICAL STEP)
This is where you currently have the right instinct:
Add immediately before application:

  • RAW Enzymes – 1–2 Tbsp
  • BioForce – ~1/4–1/2 cup (optional, I’d lean lower end)
  • Impello Continuum – ~30–60 mL
  • PowerSi PK Synergy – ~30–60 mL
  • Nematodes (S. feltiae or mix) – 50M per 55 gal

🧠 WHY THIS SPLIT MATTERS
1. Enzymes + microbes conflict in storage
  • enzymes start breaking organic matter immediately
  • microbes shift population dynamics
  • reservoir becomes unstable faster
2. Nematodes are fragile
They don’t want:
  • long aerated storage in nutrient soup
  • high microbial competition
  • temperature swings

Best performance:
👉 add last, use immediately

3. Your current “all-in-one brew” is too biologically dense
You’re stacking:

  • food source (frass, guano, teas)
  • microbes
  • enzymes
  • predators (nematodes)
  • mineral inputs
That’s not wrong — it’s just timing-sensitive biology stacking

🌱 Ideal workflow (your system, corrected)
Step 1 — Fill + mix base (aerated)

RO → SIlica - cal/mag → humics → sugars → organics → silica/PK

Step 2 — Aerate / stabilize
Step 3 — Adjust pH (phosphoric acid is fine here)
Step 4 — Right before drench
Add:

  • enzymes
  • microbes (if you’re boosting)
  • nematodes (50million for 50 gal rez)
