Bullfrog's Grow Pad

Won't be doing full packs but yeah it's a lot, always do a lot. Bunch will get shoved back in the swamp, don't get huge yields back there usually but gives me a look at lots of different strains. I have some raised planters back there and a bunch of fabric pots of various sizes. Should have time to build a bunch more this summer, have a huge pile of manure/straw and 15 yards of topsoil to fill them with.

I’m not jealous, yes I am! :stoned:

Been a long time coming. For years the only way I could grow was in secret on public land. That's where the big numbers of plants started. I always put out at least 80 plants spread out in multiple spots, that way I'd have 20 or so that made it to the end. So many close calls, the last year of guerilla growing was so damn scary. Having a few private acres to mess around on is like heaven, so thankful.

You know what you want, keep your eyes on the prize and maybe it'll happen for you someday too. Never thought I'd be where I am now.

There're areas around me that are flooding pretty bad from all the extra snow and rain this spring, many houses near rivers are inaccessible. I bought my property a couple of years ago and I found out fast it floods in the spring. It's in a river valley about a 1/4 mile from the river and it starts getting steep uphill right behind the property, we get runoff and there's nowhere for it to go.

Well, I spent all of my free time last summer working on drainage and diverting the water. Pleased to say it was a total success there's no flooding on the property apart from the swamp. Last spring my barn had a foot of water in it, wasn't any standing water at any point this spring, except the drainage pond and the stream leading to the ditch. Both neighbors had streams running onto their properties last spring and nothing this year. Pretty damn happy about all that, such a relief.

3x3 is wall to wall. Seems like I could’ve waited another 2 weeks to start these. I'd love to be planting them out right now but we’re still getting freezing weather next 4 days have 40’s for the highs. Hopefully they don’t get too mad waiting another two weeks or so. Growing daily now has me a bit worried they’re going to want another repot and that ain’t going to happen. I’ll have to wait for the 2nd and 3rd week of April to start outdoor seeds next year. Brutal, trying to ignore everyone else starting seed in feb and March aint easy. Maybe I should just skip the forums and make it easier on myself to have the will power to wait.

I've been there before, starting too early. Your garden looks great though. If I needed to buy a bit of time, I might try pulling some lower fans, trimming the lowest branches off, and pinching the tops. That might slow them down enough. Just keep em fed and they'll get over being root-bound once outside. Good luck!

Thanks bro. Most of these popped the first week of April so they're not quite 4 weeks old. They've had one repot so not rootbound yet, but it won't be long. I'm sure they'll be fine. Kicking on myself is a pastime my lesser half seems to relish in. Thanks for the kind words.

Seems like I'm here every year. The last 3 years I started planting out May 7th, not going to be so this year. My guess is after the new moon in May, seems a long way off looking at the plants and how much they've grown in 3+ weeks.
