The effect is cumulative as well. Getting nailed once, you can shrug it off. Get a few more doses of their venom and it really takes it out of you. Glad you are recovering.

I was trying to cut down a tree with a nest in the roots a couple years ago. Got a sting and it was no big deal. I took a break, got dressed with better defensive clothing and grabbed the chainsaw again. This time a couple got into my clothes right at the beltline and got me really good. For the next 30-40 hours I was in rough shape and was about to go to a hospital if I hadn't finally started feeling better

It was just some swelling, burning and some joint inflammation for me, lasted about 5 or 6 days. My ear was beat red and burning for days, wasn't very comfortable but not all that scary.

I'm aleardy on an alergy med for seasonal alergies, might up it or add benadryl, just put hydrocortisone on this morning ~24hr later.

I almost took some benadryl I had but the exp. date was 2012 so I just threw them out. Was going to get some from the store but never did, going to the store shopping is my least favorite thing, avoid it until it's a necessary. Any worse and I would've got for sure.

I think these were something called a mud bee. Not had any experience with them in the past and they weren't answering my pleas for identification.

I've got mud wasps all over the farm, but I thought they were solitary and didn't build big nests like most bees. Most every ground nest I've found has been those damn yellowjackets that are nasty and mean. I did find one once the hard way that was some type of bumble bee.

Some males that are left, haven't watered nor fed these guys in a while, some show it. First up a Toledo Strip that I'm liking that's getting really close. Probably my favorite male of them all, coming on fast, everything about it is big and fat. Smells damn nice too.


Next is the Pure Michigan F6, love the rubbery smell on this guy.

Super strong lavender cheesy, BO funk on this GCK. Really unique smell I've never run across before. Gotten some great reviews on the Lavender Cheese mother that these GCK came from. Not your everyday weed that's for sure.

The Jetpack is still holding on but it's maturing kinda slow, probably too slow for my liking. Probably should've looked at the other plants that were a little different, one was coming on pretty fast, would've been the better choice for me I think, being mainly an outdoor grower. What a beastly plant though, they all were. This was the smallest of the three.

Both of these Ghetto Blaster look like males, the closest one has my eye, stem rub is so nice. There's another in a different spot that's female that's nice looking too. Only got 3 plants to pop out of the whole 12 pack of seeds, f2's are in order I believe.

This DBX was suppose to be a female. Got one seed off the plant I grew inside last winter, put it in dirt when I found it. I remember some balls on that plant so I assumed it was a herm seed. Didn't pay it much attention. My blind ass notice it looked a little funny today. Looked closer and it's a male, full of balls, not too far along though, not far enough for mid August so it got chopped. This thing was just a damn beast, took 3 cuts with the loppers to get it knocked down. Must have been the Sunshine Oaxacan pollen that I spread on one plant in that tent. Grew out five of the seeds from that pollination this summer and I can see the resemblance, same type of smell also. The sun was setting on it so I couldn't get a good picture.


This poor Grapefruit Gorg. Crazy tall plant. Hasn't been fed or watered in months. Smells much stronger than the female and seems to be a litter further along in flower too. Love the dirty citrus smell it gives up. Still haven't made my mind up, might cut it down and take it home, snag a vial of pollen off em.

The 3molb x morilla male got the chop today also, just wasn't far enough along. Worried about the females finishing also, they're taking there sweet time.

Chopped the last Jetpack male and the Grapefruit gorg male. Down to 3 males, Toledo Strip, Pure Michigan F6 and my GCK (Green Gello x (Uk Cheese x Extreme Cookies) X (BC Kush x Nepal Highland IBL)). Monday is shaping up to be pollination day, the Grapesmac pollen is going to get spread around to a few ladies that are ready to receive.

That grapesmac is one hella strain..Not sure when it will be but my very next major hunt will be the Grapesmac f2s..It's definitely one strain I want to work to perfection.

I agree. I'm making some F2's myself. Have a really nice purple stemmed female that has a nice grape drink smell. The male smelled like candy. I really enjoyed the smoke from previous grows, but they're not the biggest or most vigorous growers from what I've seen. There are a bunch of females I'm going to use the pollen on, and I'll run at least some of the crosses next summer.

I'm dying to pollenate some of these big females like Iced Nectarines and Black Cherry Breath, they're beasts, has me super excited. A King Kush Breath that's super loud needs pollinated also but I was hoping for something more on the greasy, oily or rubber side for that plant. Didn't really get a loud stanky male that'll pair with her. Maybe the Ghetto blaster that's straight rubber so far will come through. The PM f6 male has some rubber and gas in there so it may be what hits some of the stinkier gals.

Gotta snap a pic of one of those PM IX, it's a great plant. When I'm in that patch that's all I can smell is that IX. Right now, it's a musky over ripe fruit bowl. It's moving along at a quicker pace than all the others also. So far, I can't find any balls or funny business going on with them. There's 3 of them, 2 are just meh but the one is awesome so far. Haven't counted but I'd bet I have 30 females still and that one is the loudest of them all, caught me by surprise.

I agree. I'm making some F2's myself. Have a really nice purple stemmed female that has a nice grape drink smell. The male smelled like candy. Super good smoke to ..I've heard that from multiple ppl..The right phenos like the one I had smells very peachy too..Glad to hear your getting some raunchy rubber smells out the PM cause that's certainly what I was trying to isolate since f4..Seems they go either way..Gassy rubber or cedar..I chucked the same male at both grapesmac gals to make f2s..One female straight candy.. Reminded me most of Smarties candy..The other super ass raunchy along the lines of a stinky GMO plant..Seems the Smarties phenos a touch more potent but the raunchy stank phenos was more my style with a better structure and raw terps..I had such high hopes for the PM ix but after the test runs and all the intersex I even thru away all the seeds

My male Candy pheno grapesmac reminded me of sweet tarts, which is right in line with smarties. A previous grow I got one of the raunchy plants, I preferred the more candy smelling one personally but none of them I tried were bad, loved them all.

I remember the cedar from the last batch of PM, these F6 seem a little different on the smells. Seem mostly rubbery/gassy with a slight sweetness I haven't been able to nail down. They seem much more vigorous also though that could be because I'm getting things dialed in with my grow beds over here.

Glad you sent me some of the PM IX and glad I ran some. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be my favorite out of the whole season. Shes in the middle of the patch and you can smell her walking up to it, right through a couple of Toledo Strips and a Forbidden Jelly. I actually though the smell was some melons that the mice got into but followed my nose right to that IX.
