Everything lookin great homie. Ill miss my frog and lizard friends on my outdoor plants. I recently moved from south Florida to central Arizona so not as many of those guys around

We have frogs and toads aplenty here in Michigan, no lizards that I'm aware of aside from pets. I'd bet there are more lizards in AZ than you'd think. Probably frogs and toads too. Pretty sure the Bufo Alvarius calls AZ home. Thanks for taking a look.

I grew it twice in the tent, this is the best plant. One of the others was decent smoke but neither plant was fun to grow, they just didn't. This one seems to like it outside and she smells like Heaven. I've let plants go through multiple frosts before, some can take it. Some can't and one good frost ruins them. I'd love to have them all down before the first frost, but ya know it never works out that way, some just aren't ready in time. It's already cooling down pretty hard at night up here by the bridge. I have a couple plants that are a couple weeks from harvest. One of the PM ix looks nearly done now and one of my King Oaxacan is the fattest out there and isn't far from finish either. It'll take some true restraint to wait for spring to pop some of the beans that are cooking on them both.

How would you like to be my neighbor? Good thing there's not much downwind for miles. My patch is officially seedy. Going to hate seeing it after this latest escapade.

I want child support money now for all my girls j/k kinda lol if’s its a good male than good suggestion is say “ ur seeds are the gold, harvest ur seeds and u got a seedbank of seeds”.. seeds def can be . Shoot 25’ od I made some seeds of the black berry kush x pbb and kept the seeds cause she finished insane fast and was so unique. This year 26 is the male and female of those seeds and must say glad I tried it cause I can def say I see the parents in em. preety cool ur breeding all that . u got a lifetime of seed

Funny side story (sorry if spamming ya) 2023 outdoors on mistake I left a male clone that was in a party cup ( didn’t die from not even watering/care) sat sideways hidden near a fence and literally pollinated any of my pheno’s in my grow square that took in pollen than (early ones) and I literally had to seed remove 1k’s of seeds. Some were so seeded it was just gifted as ultra seeded and funny part many people really liked it still and one of my buddies grew the seeds next year in his indoor and man it was fire. Kinda wished I labeled those seeds from each mom cause it was a gorilla nut male and all the GN was some of the best pbb stuff I ever smoked.

I hear people all the time talking about how they wish they'd find a few seed like in the old days. I've grown and smoked killer dank that had seeds. As long as they haven't gone to seed then they're usually not too bad to smoke. I've been around seed making from the time I was born so it's natural to me. Feel like I need to take the best plants and make seeds for the next season, how we did it for years. Last year I made 30 seeds total in the outdoor, 3 girls flowering now from that batch, call them GCK.

Dude, any grower would be hot, I would too. I'd never do it if there were growers nearby.

Currently, nobody close is growing. There may be someone growing miles away that I don't know about but, they're not going to get all seeded up being that far off.

Lol thats funny @Bullfrog like you said tho id fully understand if someone was close by. I was reading about how alot of the landrace strains nowadays that still grow naturally have been slowly contaminated over time by homegrowers tho pretty interesting topic

I'd say improved not contaminated. We've always been drawn to this plant. Surely, it wouldn't be the same without us. Could probably say the same in reverse. Who knows what it would actually be.

Got to have a @Bad Dawg in the grow. Grape Stomper x Runaway Bride, smells very much like the grapesmac plant on the other side of the patch, a lot more bud on this Bride Stomper. All the plants in this area are in pots and got dried back to hard too many times but they don't look terrible now. My 3rd season in the swamp I think I've got the height of my beds pretty close to where they stay properly hydrated no matter where the level of the water is. Water can fluxuate quite a bit. Most of the summer it's been a few inches below the floor, in the spring it can be as much as 6" above the floor. Last summer water was above the floor until I got the dam torn down and the creek built. Heavy rain and wind this morning had me worried, half expected to find something broken or blown over. Everything is solid now. One thing about growing outside, the elements will toughen these plants right up. Don't get too many droopy plants unless you plant them somewhere they get no exposure. There's an area through the swamp that's like a wind tunnel, the willows show the proof, many the tops are ripped off and all tangled up. Lost one plant this year that was in the tunnel. Had to stake a bunch. They were flopping good today, hard to get any pics.

Pretty sure I have that one, still untouched. Never had much luck with Haze crosses outside here. RAB crosses are usually fairly fast though, so who knows. I'll have to try and pay attention see how it does for ya. There's another Grape Stomper in a small pot in the garden that's nearly done, it's just a small plant, smells great though. Maybe two weeks left on her.

Got ya. I havent tried any outdoor grows yet since moving to AZ but its almost time to be good for it where ill try an outdoor only strain or two but ill be growing that one indoors. Ive heard good things about the RAB crosses dope to see someone else running it rn

I start with around 100 plants for the outdoor, so I always throw some baddawg in there. I've done quite a few RAB crosses. They usually work for me. They finish and they dont' usually get moldy, so they're worth growing. Most the time they're sweet fruity and a lot of purples. Always easy to grow.

Hell yeah dude big boy numbers there. Im able to squeeze in around 50ish half gallon pot plants in my setups but normally only do like 4 to 5 beans per reg strain and 2-3 beans per fem strain so I can get the most variety in strains as I can per run

Love variety myself. Apart from a couple of my chucks that I ran 6 seeds of; the rest were all 3 beans per strain. Fems were only 1 per strain. Not sure how many have made it this far, I'd guess in the 40's.

I've never really had a good time growing them indoors, it's just too much of everything. Plus, they're just small, floppy sad little things. I've done a winter grow the last 3 or 4 years but I'm going to try and skip it this winter. Have so much to process anyway, gonna take me all winter. Another plus is everything will be empty and ready for spring starts in March and April.

Bugs are pretty bad here too, many kinds, my most despised is the slug/snail. One big thing is to keep the plants around them cut down to the ground. One of the many reasons I start with so many. It's still a lot of work outside but it's mostly just manual work, doesn't cost anything but time and my effort. I love the smell unfortunately not everyone does, nobody seems to complain when it's back in the swamp where they don't go. I do a couple of sprays during veg when the little worms are bad, that's really the only expense. We have a horse so there's plenty of good compost and mulch around. Can turn a tiny seed into pounds of weed with little to no dollars. With the raised beds wicking water in the swamp I don't even have to water much. Now I have my path done and all the pots back there buried in a pile of mulch. Next year should be a breeze. It's taken me a few years to build the beds, drag the pots, the dirt to fill the pots and the beds back through the swamp. Finally got a woodchipper this summer and built a path with all the brush that I had piled up, now I can run a wheelbarrow through there. Before I had to wear knee high rubber boots and wade through the water and muck.

I wouldn't know the slightest about growing in Florida or Arizona. Lat 45N I know. There's a guy from that area around here somewhere, forget who. I think he was in New Mexico.

I know another grower from that lat that does a very similar routine I wonder if youse have met lmao to give you an idea on how bad the bugs were when I was in Florida, I grew in grow bags on my sealed screened in back porch that I sprayed a few things on and we had an exterminator that sprayed back there and if I left a plant out there over night the next am the whole plant would be absolutely covered in white flies and caterpillars no matter what. We lived along stagnant freshwater that didnt help but we also had big hedges around the house outback so between those two i couldn't beat em

This PM ix is bout done. Going to give it at least another week so the beans can ripen a bit more. Very big plant that’s loaded with seeds.
