CBD warning, probably won't impact you

I've brought up CBD here several times, for my prostate cancer. Now it appears that I'm in a fairly unique set of circumstances and can't use high CBD dosing, at least for now. We'll see what happens down the road.

I'm in this hot mess due to a perfect storm.
-I was just recently diagnosed with PTSD, like just over a week ago.
-I was in a clinical trial last Nov that landed me in the ICU with CSR (cytokine reaction syndrome)
-I started using high-dose CBD isolate for my prostate cancer, about 0.4-0.5 grams per day.

That won't impact many at all, but there are several of these clinical trials going on right now that use a CRS to activate the immune system, a form of immunotherapy. In short, it's really bad mojo, especially since the pressures causing my PTSD are just ramping up.

It gets above my pay grade quickly, but here's the idea. I got this from an oncology AI I'm using.

Liver Safety: THC vs. High-Dose CBD

Clinical research clearly distinguishes the liver risks of CBD from those of THC. High-dose CBD (such as a 500 mg isolate) has a well-documented risk of causing acute hepatotoxicity, or drug-induced liver injury, by elevating liver enzymes like ALT and AST 12.

Conversely, THC—the primary active component of traditional, low-CBD cannabis flower—is not associated with direct hepatocellular toxicity 2. While THC is heavily metabolized by the liver's CYP450 enzymes, it does not typically damage the liver tissue itself. From a pharmacological standpoint, a low-CBD/high-THC cannabis flower or FECO protocol is considered significantly safer for your recovering liver than high-dose CBD 12.

In short, I need to give things a few days to clear out a bit, to let go of those receptors, and then re-evaluate. This can be dangerous, so in the rare case anyone else runs into this weird set of circumstances, I wanted to pass on the word.
