Chef Dave's finally steering a Ferrari 🏎️

Well after many weeks of trials, failures, non satisfaction, finally my system is done and I'm relieved, happy and excited. I've wanted to do this system for 4 years, but didn't want to invest the time and capital necessary to do it properly . Im so happy I did and it's operational. This is a closed loop pressurized crop steering boutique commercial system with all the bells and whistles. It starts with 2 55 gallon reservoirs each with their own dedicated 1/3 HP water chillers, that also act as reservoir circulators, the outlets of the reservoirs are 1 inch pvc with ball valves that flow into a 50 mesh pre filter then the intake solenoids, and spring loaded check valves, from there both reservoirs go into a tee which leads to the intake side of a Leader 230 pump, next, the outage of the pump continues with 1 inch pvc, then goes to a 1/2 inch pvc pre disc filter bypass system with ball valves, which lead back to each reservoir, (this is to eliminate pump bucking and regulate pressure into the disc filter) then the nutrient solution flows at 45 psi through the disc filters to a tee, then branches to outake solenoids and finally to beds that have 1 inch pvc manifolds to 3/4 inch netafim tubing. There are 25 psi pressure regulators during the transition at the manifolds. Each 1 gallon grow bag contains 70/30 coco perlite with 2 netafim .5 gph woodpecker cnl drip emmiters with down flow stakes. This pressurized system insures each plant is getting exactly the same amount of water per fertigation event.( Shot). I went through 2 different reservoirs before finally getting it right on the 3rd try. The lights are still the same except I got new floraflex(720 watts per bed) under canopy lighting. The 2 beds were reduced further in size, to a 9 x 4 and a 10 by 4. The plant count is 28 on the 9 x 4, and 32 on the 10 x4. There is 1000 ppfd on full power in the corners and close to 1800 ppfd in the center. 8 burner CO2 natural gas generator is kept at 1000 ppm weeks 1 through 3, then 1500 ppm weeks 4 to 7 and down to 800ppm weeks 8 and 9. There are 2 150 pint dehumidifiers and a 18k 23 seer mini split ac. There are fans everywhere and a custom designed knife flow undercanopy ventilation system with 390 cfm inline fans. Above each bed is a 1800 cfm updraft commercial fan. I'm very proud of this system and it's engineered capacity of total environmental control and fertigation precision. The controls of the fertigation are handled through the pulse hub and open sprinkler working in tandem through the sensors in the coco, I set it up as a hybrid system, both timed and on demand based upon volumetric water content of the sensors . I will post more tomorrow with nutrient listings and feed schedules. The plants are day 8 and day 2 .PXL_20260719_051228924.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051245813.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051405030.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051420934.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051457394.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051844288.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051926255.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20260719_051932999.RAW-01.jpg
