Pretty crazy what these plants can do with no soil

Was doing some weed whipping the other day and I found something I had lost. Didn’t amount to much but they’re not dead nor males spreading pollen.

Now I kinda remember putting them in Seep creek so I didn’t have to water. Musta been blasted when I did it cause I totally forgot what I did with them.

Yup, I'd written them off. If they wouldn't have been in the creek though I'd imagine they'd be toasty. I bet the roots are right down through the mulch taking up the creek water. Good thing they weren't males, they're the furthest plants west so the prevailing winds would blow the pollen all over the rest of the crop. Course my patch is already pretty seedy, most plants anyway. Probably wouldn't even notice.

Amazing the weight you can pull with no root space if ya jam the feed to em.. definitely more babysitting involved with the tiny pots.., I can't wait to cut that container off and see what's up in there..I'll post the results of the root mass
