Concentrating too-dry trim?

I had a bunch of trim donated recently and would like to extract it into FECO. Obviously it won't exactly be premium FECO, but still useful for sleep and such. Thing is, this stuff is showing around 40% moisture. Is there any reason to stress about getting the moisture level up, or does that not matter since it's just getting processed into oil?

How are you going to be extracting for FECO? Smokeable, ingestion, topical? Ethanol, isopropyl, mct, butane, propane, blend, co2?

Ingestion. I put it in empty capsules from a syringe. I use Everclear.

I would lay it out on a cookie sheet with parchment paper for a few hours or more until crispy dry. Then decarb as usual, soak in your ethanol, strain, then fill the caps.

You can probably skip the "dry on parchment" step, and go directly to decarb in the oven. The oven will dry and decarb during the same session.
