Took a break for awhile. Still digging through skunks to find something to add the death smell. I can get the ammonia/chemical/spray/burnt rubber but still need that "dead" smell. I got ahold of the UK Cheese but found her way too sweet to be worth much for stink. Been popping skunk seeds trying to find something to work with. Keep finding lots of the garlicky/hot garbage (Chem D) profile, and while its great for "stinky" varieties, it's not the death component I want to go from Skunk to ROADKILL Skunk. Without the death, its just a skunk. Recently got a cut of '96 Kentucky Skunk (supposedly "that" kind of skunk) so we'll see if that's another dead end or something to work with. I have stuff I've made but haven't tested. I like to grow it out and get a look at what I'm asking others to pay for. So, it's a matter of having the plan, time, and discipline to execute a cross and then a subsequent full grow out with notes and pics the whole way. It can be a lot to commit to doing a proper drop of a few new things with the freebies to back them all up. I'll always be plugging away towards an RKS with occasional spin off skunks and I intend to have seeds drop eventually in the future.
Do you think there's still the appetite for seeds that there was 5 years ago? With ubiquitous clone accessibility is there still the hunger for the latest drop from [INSERT NAME HERE]? Bodhi in particular was the place for me to get the closest I could ever get of whatever mother he used in a cross. After clones became so accessible, I just grabbed a cut of the mother instead of a slew of crosses using the cut.
Not sure about the name, but I think the parents were green crack & granny skunk.
