Got my babies in there collars.

In Bloom
Wondermelon -3-13-Seeds
Hey everyone. Just a little update. I was able to fit the collars around the plants today without any hesitation of crushing the stem. Growth is fast. These girls roots are taking off and I can tell they are just loving life in this new system. Venturis are pumping baby. Gonna take out half the water probably tomorrow. Get a little res change started. Other than that. Gotta decide when to top these and what I'm gonna do about netting. I don't like the net I have for a 5*5. It don't hug the sides of the tent enough. Maybe I'll make a little something out of wood. I know I'm gonna need something heavy duty to hold these girls down in flower. Having a blast. Thanks for looking . Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Peace.

Certainly. These all connect so easy.

This is not an official interrogation, I simply enjoy learning what makes these things tick
No problem brother. Yeah man. They are simple quick connects. The venturis are inside the buckets. The pump has one connector that is just a reducer to 3/4 going up and out to the chiller. I had to use that connector to use the chiller outside the tent. The one going to the venturis is a quick connect. I'll post another pic in the a.m..

Is there a stand pipe in the buckets?

I do not recognize the threaded fitting on the pump intake.
Is that blue collar a quick disconnect?

I don't see a Venturi on the pump, are they in the stations?
This is it bro. Air comes in at the top in that tiny hole. The whole thing clips to any side u want. Just have to rotate the lid.

That is lovely.
No added heat, no added power consumption, and no moving parts !
Mechless anyway. The induction water pump isn't moving, but the impeller is, and those shafts last for years.

It is a really slick system.
The only aspect that makes me a little nervous is the water supply line. The tubing looks very supple. Direct radiation in a warm environment like that may allow them to relax and try to kink.

Fluval makes a retail solution, like this.
Pricey though

Some washing machines are also supplied with a like unit.
Circles are tricky, if that tubing were to relax even fractions of inches, the resulting restriction would be logarithmic.
Because I am cheap, and I have no pride
,,, I would duct tape an empty can of tuna under that arch.

Understand I am coming from a good place, I am right there with you; not on your back.
I want you to be successful, and grow great plants.
Every post I make ends up costing me two cents, and I am baller willing to toss those coins around.

That's some solid advice brother. I didn't even think about that. It would be nice to upgrade them into something more rigid in the future. I have those rim connectors in my cart. They are 16.99 a piece. I just don't know if they will fit good in my system. What do you think? Could I make them work. There was a cheaper one for like 7.99 but I don't think the housing comes with it.?https://a.co/d/0bulxrt

I don't really see a difference between those two units, they are both a two-piece, click-together, hollow candy cane.
Function is the same.

It is a philosophical question, and I am having trouble answering.

The only criteria that needs to be met is preventing the tube from collapsing. It could be cast from solid gold, conversely; it could be made from an old yogurt container.
The answer is either, or anything in between.

Wow. Never gonna guess what happened. I come home. One of the venturis circulators was not flowing with the same velocity as the other 3. Took it out cleaned it. Tried to get the air out. Nothing fixed it. I had to take all of the venturis out and clean them out because some small debris got caught in the tubing somewhere. Anyways, got it fixed. Did a whole reservoir change. Cleaned out some light slime that was starting to build on the bottom and sides. Got some fresh water in there. Gonna update with some pics in the am
