Greases Pieces & Monkey Juice Journal

Day 21v and both plants are doing VERY well 👌

They look really similar now that they've got a little age on them. They looked quite different a couple weeks ago

I'm super low on my Grow base, and can't get more until next weekend. Luckily they're young enough that I can skip a watering or two. I can also use Bloom in a pinch, my Grow/Bloom bases aren't very different in N P K & I doubt 1-2 feedings would matter.
They definitely put out some big leaves. 💯

HOLEEE SHEEET the Monkey Juice is going NUTS! Needs another cleanup, the Greases Pieces just got a lil cleanup before this pic. Even the roommate is doing really well 👍

Very very happy with everything in here right now 👍 a huge sigh of relief after transplant stress on the biggest girl --- OH, and, I think the roommate is a female:

Looks good to me 👍👍

I have gotten several from Home Depot over the past few years. They had some that you could take apart. That the rings actually detached from the metal rods that hold it into the ground. I’ve never seen any more like it since. The rods that hold the rings up has loops in it so you can adjust the tops. Let’s say you can put the rings in without having to disturb the plant. They look very good. I’m thinking about doing some this run. I’ll show what they look like but no, that is one of the best ways to do your plants. I like the net. But when you got to move one around, you cannot do it when the nets in and of course you know this I’m sure. I like to be able to move them around if I feel like that one’s not getting enough light I have that mobility to do that.

I gave the Monkey Juice a really nice cleanup, tucked a lot of flopper branches into the cage & removed everything up to the 2nd cage ring. Lots of skinny little branches and lower runted node sites got the pluck.

And a fairly nice shot across the top of both plants 👌

Today is the first day I'm starting to see a lot of pre-flower happening, day 10f so that's really good IMO for 10wk vegged plants. Younger plants can take 15-ish days in flower to get here 👍

Well ALRIGHT, we're well into flower! Day 15f

Oops, I forgot to take close-ups of the bud sites before lights-out.

The little roommate has jumped ahead flower-wise, followed by the Monkey Juice & the Greases Pieces flower sites are tightly in third place. The varying heights irks me, I can never seem to get any two or three plants remotely the same height without booster seats, lol. But, at least all the plants are similarly in flower together 👌❤️ I'm getting really sick of staggering flower times; varying finish times don't bug me that much, but I hate when the flower development of 2-3 plants are at like different stages 🤷‍♂️

But, all good for now 👍 looks like another defoliation in my near future

That the joys of growing from seed. Even plants of the same strain can have various phenos that are way different. If you want uniformity you've gotta grow clones. The important part you've got nailed down, that's the health of the plants. They look fantastic. All the trouble will be well worth it very soon.

Day 16f and had to do some super cropping on the Monkey, which I hate doing in flower but MAN these tops were way too tall.

A really nice bucket load of leaves from all the plants, at least 2/3 of this bucket was the Monkey alone

Raw gold for the compost 👌❤️ if I just do a few handfuls of leaf plucking, I just throw em in the bathroom trash, but when I get this many I reserve them for the compost bin

Check it out, the bin is breaking down pretty nicely

The top and bottom are pieces from a wrestling mat from like a high school gym

I just fixed the handle today, fashioned from an old purse and practiced my braiding on some garden twine

I don't use any of this stuff indoors, only outdoors in the garden and flower beds 👍 too many creepy crawlies to bring this inside, lol!

Day 23f all is well 🤘

Monkey Juice looking pretty ideal right now
1000009364.jpg

Greases Pieces a lil smaller stack but still good
1000009363.jpg

The early frost just starting to set in, no real discernible aromas on either yet.

The roommate, however:

Blueberry Muffin. This pic was 3-4 days ago, is already heavier stacked than the Greases/Monkey plants, and an already bright blueberry aroma! Very nice. Glad I kept a cut this time 👍💙

Everything is looking really nice 👌 I could stand to do one more heavy defoliation on everything, maybe tonight or tomorrow, but soon. Then just cruise to the finish.

Still the smaller stacker, getting nice & frosty but still no distinct aroma. This pic almost looks like the leaves are showing some sort of chlorosis or deficiency but they're not, maybe just the glare or saturation of image 🤷‍♂️

Just an absolute gorgeous specimen 👌 when you're flowering plants & they look like this, your heart is just at ease & the whole process is so smooth ❤️ not to say the Greases are worrying me in any way, but they're a little more "unique' looking but this one 👌 damn. Also no distinct aroma off the sugar leaves, just "hash weed" smell for the most part.

**The Greases' fan leaves have VERY strong and long petioles, whereas the the Monkey just gets big standard proportion and texture of leaves.
