Ohh, it's coming from the grow tent, what the hell are you growing now?

A rub of the leaves on the Blue God confirmed her "nose". To be fair, it is a squatty little thing with a big stink. Gotta be something good there!

Well, the odor was substantially reduced when I hung both of these in my outdoor drying shed.

Yeah, these two stunk bad but with a bit of an unexpected bit of bud rot. Bummed when I started trimming and the center of each bud was a pale brown color which clashed with the exterior of the buds. The further I went, the worse it got. These plants got a crapload of air all the time. 20" fan in front of the tent at all times, dark curtains to isolate the room proper.

This is the third Hazeman strain that has ended up with bud rot. The first was outside, but the last two were in my spring grow this year and I had to ditch 5 plants due to this. Had two other plants in the tent that turned out really stellar, and they were Greenpoint strains.

I am now on the fence with the Hazeman stuff. They have some interesting stuff hitting the shelves this year, but I have reservations. Not one to complain about anyones work, but this was 3 for the last 3 Hzemands

Are you actually blaming bud rot on a breeder? That's 100 percent on the grower and his or hers environment. If course some strains are more suseptable to bud rot, but is still 100 percent caused by improper environment.

Not at all blaming a breeder, but citing a coincidence occurring across 3 separate strains that happen to be from a given breeder.

Since i had other plants in the same grow environment that show no sign of that, I flagged it as curious. I had allowed all 3 strains to grow a natural dominant cola, and that was where the fungus showed up. Other outlying buds were not affected. I don't think the other two were much different in structure, but the 2 Blue God were really vertically challenged from the get go and very tightly noded.

So, I've simply identified some weed that doesn't like the low humidity environment I grow in. Not trying to finger a particular places work, just stating my experience with their product.

You got bud rot with low humidity? Humidity is irrelevant without corresponding proper temps to maintain vpd guidelines based upon week of flower your in.Late week 6 to harvest , is the time your vpd needs to be 1.1 to 1.4 to avoid botrytis. .95 to 1.1 vpd all other times is ideal. Bud rot is never a breeder problem, it's a growers environmental problem. If you don't have controls over your environment, or grow without hvac during seasonal times that are hot and humid, bud rot will happen, especially with strains that throw big ass buds.
