A one in a billion chance of a routine procedure gone wrong. And I hit it. Woke up this morning after a five day coma. Five blood transfusions. At least they moved me out of ICU and into a regular room. I can only have ice chips for now. I’m just hoping they’ll change it up so I can have a cranberry juice, apple juice, oj, hell just a protein shake. I’ve lost too much weight to go on without some real sustenance. This much pain in such a short amount of time is unfathomable to most but it seems to becoming routine for me. Let’s hope for a quick turnaround so I can get back to seeing my son, playing w my dog, tending to the garden, and spending time w my awesome parents. They have been the real MVPs and without them I wouldn’t be here today chopping it up w y’all.
