I'm not certain about the provenance of my nostalgia strains, but I'm smitten with the green Mexican of my youth and later what were probably the NL5/Hazes. I can't find that stuff today so it's what I want to grow. Of what's around, I like it all, but especially Chems, Sours, OGs.
My buddy set me up with a free HID which I'm using in a vertical setup so I can grow stretchy plants, at least for now. I made it through one round without killing anything, but it was a sad run, poorly timed and executed. Live and learn.
A month ago I popped 10 Panama Red fallen soldiers from CSI. It's another run of freebies and cheap seeds to build up experience keep the pressure down. After that I'm itching to run some Dogshit and Ol' Betsy crosses and a pack Blood Durban/Irene from CSI.

There's some good Landraces available from time to time. Chems are pretty high up on my list of favorites; Only Cheese is higher every time LOL. If you like Sour stuff, Cheese is totally an option. I have some Chem DMT running outside right now, which I'm excited about; I love Chem D so much I've ran bag seed of it multiple times, and even cloned them. The Chem DMT is special though, as it's about as close to the real deal as I've ever been.
Or Michiganian, or Troll, or Yooper, depending on where LOL. There's a decent chunk of us up here in the Mitten
