How much for a zip of good buds these days?

I don't have any idea what weed costs on the street here in Illinois.
The flower at a dispensary goes for approximately $65.00 an 1/8 oz plus taxes.
Not that I have bought any personally, but I did look it up on the local dispensary's website.
I'm guessing this is not really the information that you are looking for, I thought I would throw it out there for reference.
That would be $520.00 a zip, pre-tax.

Prices and product descriptions, by geographic area!
I recall one in particular, late 90s', can't remember the area, but the description was ,"Shwiggity Shwag, $15- 1/8th oz. Shitty, seedy, and dry"
The going rate in my neck of the woods in Da UP of MI, floated around 170 per zip for the last few years, on average. Small communities, so depending on who ya know, it can be great, or garbagey. These markets can be very easily flooded.
Lately, as more legitimate provisioning centers have come online, the prices for the grey market have had to adjust. I've dropped down to the $120 range per zip for my offerings, to keep the turnover flowing. My "distributors" have found deals I have a hard time matching, and I can't blame them.
It's my belief that many of the more casual users are choosing the shops first. They seem to get really excited about being able to brag about having a package that says their reefers has 24% THC.

Same. more or less, and had a helluva run providing product for a distributor up until Brisco's became the focus. But an expected seed tent coming up barren happened.

I used to read it religiously back in the 80's and cry because I couldn't get deals like that in Iowa.

125 is the average and can range in quality from straight backyard-outdoor, machine trim to semi-commercial machine trim.
Flavor is usually ok and the high lasts about 30 minutes to an hour.
There's a lot of "Cartel" weed being grown in backyard greenhouses around here. One of the new tactics, or maybe it isn't, is to have a local with property, provide the land for a cut of the stacks. "cartel" provides everything else.
I had an acquaintance that was doing this grind until he came up short handed after the federales took down some of those larger operations here last year.
My buddy says his coworkers at an electric car manufacturing joint are paying 1k-2.5k/lb for pgr bud and reggie supposedly coming from local sources.
It ALL tastes like crap and the high is minimal. Usage is usually a flavored wrap blunt.
My buddy that lives in ID drives to OR to hook up and pays between 120-150 for decent greenhouse overtrimmed bud.
A friend that lives in Illinois, drives to MI to score 125/zip pretty decent quality herb
My bud goes for 250/zip unless you're a cop, then it's 400.

I'd be happy going back 20 years lol when things were like 300-400... Lucky to get half that now. Dispensaries here in mass are getting anywhere from 40-60 an eight though and that's before tax so idk.. there's definitely alotta garbage out there on the black market idk how they even sell it but people seem to like cheap these days tuff times...
