I'll be running some autos, and I use ffof soil. I'm betting I won't need any nutes until 2 weeks after the onset of flowers. They will be in either 5gal or 3gal pots. Depending if 4 or 5 of the best out of the 6 pop.

Inside, I use the standard 321 formula for everything. I never change it. I'll supplement flower with some Flower Girl. Masterblend Tomato Formula is very similar to 123. I use that outdoors as soon as the plants are outside and for the entire duration of the grow. I mix it in 55 gallon barrels outside.

bahahahahah so i figured out what was happening with my pH...
well it wasnt the jacks. Apparently my wife thought she was being helpful adding the dehumidifier water straight into the nute resivoir. had to explain while I appreciated the help, It needs to go in *this* bucket first.
So, problem solved!

I love Jack's and have been using it for years. Plus MKP (Monopotassium Phosphate). I came across this formula from a Greengenes Garden video on youtube and never looked back.
It uses MKP all throughout the grow as an additional input, with a ratio of 2.0 grams of Part A, 2.7g of Part B, 2.0g of Epsom salt and 1.2g of MKP. I do find this overall to be on the weaker side, so I like to bump all the numbers up, but stay with the same ratio.
I use this on all my plants, any age, from start to finish and never steer from it. My plants have never looked better, and the cost is very affordable. I've been using the same 25lb bags for years, and probably still have a few years left on them.

I switched from Fox Bottles to Jack's 3-2-1 for my second grow. I loved it had good runs with it.
Greengenes Garden got me hooked on it.
However, by proxy, Greengene got me to learn HydroBuddy, which opened a helluva Pandora's Box.
By that, I mean it wouldn't be long after I started creating my own nutrients from scratch.
Of course, I modeled my recipe after Jack's at first. But then, after more research (Dr. Bruce Bugby and Dr. Nirit Bernstein), I began to tweak my recipe.
Like Willie, I run mine with the same recipe from seedling to harvest. I don't make adjustments for flower. So far, I am very happy with yield and quality.
If you are Nutrient Curious, watch Dr. Berstein's lecture for Cornell University and what her experiments have discovered. Her lecture mostly covers N-P-K and Mg. I wish it covered Ca, but those experiments are coming.
If you don't want to watch the video, I will sum her opinion up as follows:
Nitrogen: Regarding Biomass, you never need more than 160 elemental ppm. However, if you go up to 240 ppm, it won't hurt it.
However, "some" of the highest totals of terpenes and cannabinoids come when you starve it (30-80ppm).
You will have some sickly-looking plants if you do this.
Potassium: 100 ppm is ideal for biomass. However, going as high as 240 ppm will not cause harm.
Like N, starved plants created more terpenes and cannabinoids for some of them.
Phosphorus: 30 ppm is ideal in veg and flower. However, the optimum range is wide at 15 - 90 ppm (veg). 30 - 90 ppm flower.
Having said this, terpenes and cannabinoids drop as you move beyond 30 ppm.
Magnesium: 35 ppm (veg) & 20 ppm (flower - biomass), although safe ranges are 35 - 140 ppm.
35 ppm in flower will create the best quality cannabinoid yield. Beyond 35, the quality diminishes from optimum.
She also explains why you should limit your ammonium nitrate to none if possible.
Disclaimer: I am not a scientist. These comments are my interpretations of her lecture and data slides presented.
Ultimately, my recipe does not mimic Dr. B's advice, but I tried to get close. I wanted to bump my calcium because I grow in coco and didn't want to worry about adding Cal/Mg supplements. I don't remember where I read it, but it is in my head that you want Ca & Mg to be about 3-1. I definitely could be wrong on that, but it is working for me.

Jacks 321 fubar'd my flower up very badly. It's missing most all key micro nutes. So I have jacks collecting dust and I went back to what's worked for 13+yrs, technaflora nutes!!!

Same here. There is the odd addition, like a bit of silica during veg, but for the most part it's 5-12-26 with fulvic.

I've used technaflora since the beginning. I've tried to switch to advanced, nectar for the gods, and jacks. All didn't live up to what technaflora did for my plants.

The price point between megacrop and jacks is getting very close. 131 for MC 5 12 26 and 170 for Jacks.... If I see a 10% sale I will grab a sack.
The problem with MC is it STINKS. It mixes great but wow does it smell sulfur.
Other than that its great...and 25 pounds of it... i still have 2 full COSTCO COCONUT OIL jars full to the top... 2 tsp max in 5 gallons....
Calnit and Mag Suflate.... you can find cheaper.
I do mix it a little different from veg to bloom. I have a 1 tsp measure spoon.. in veg 1 t of those of 5-12-26 and 2 of calnit
in bloom 2 tsp 5-12-26 and 1 of calnit....
In RO water....and sometimes in tap water.... 650 TDS tap water this morning.... plants need their minerals

the 5-12-26 is not the same.
their 1 bag formula has had 3...that i know of formulas...and when i moved in here 5 years ago i had a fat 25 pound sack.
I think i sent 5 pounds to Jewels
Down to 1/2 pound of it.Not a fan...it veges ok But so does jacks 20 20 20
The 3-2-1 method is a classic for a reason. It’s hard to beat that consistency and the breakdown you posted shows exactly why it stays so popular.
