Yes and you can tell. Pictures are worth a thousand wordsAll I have is time, my family and my plants. I also have everything I need now so I'm ready to rock the rest of the year out full blast. If I stop moving, the back and knees lock up and i find myself in here for hours, reading and thinking what it must be like to have some of the huge beautiful gardens I see on here. I try my hardest.
I usually wait till around 21 . Kind of depends on the plant though too . some just need it really bad.I have a question. When is the absolute earliest day you are comfortable defoliating and trimming sucker branches after flipping to flower. I'm on day 14 and I have safely done this on day 14 without having issues. I know this is probably more a strain specific question. I just want to get some light into the middle and thin out these Marshmallow Rolls. No issues today after my daily scan. So, defoliate or wait until day 21 like usual?
Mcb was solid for me , bummer about the trouble. That cross is sensitive unfortunately Hope they give ya no more trouble manI was pretty upset when that Rainbow Cereal Milk hermed but when I did the research on what she used and found out they weren't even tested it made more sense. Everything I ran of hers hermed. Us regular growers who don't breed or chuck are most of the time just being told we're doing something wrong in our grow, light leaks etc when we get herms. It couldn't be their untested genetics that originates from bagseed they got on a trip one year in the 90s. If I didn't like his c99xx and Cinderella Purple xx i would I would trash them. C99 is my favorite and it's hard to find stable regular photoperiod seeds of it.
I scanned the 3 Marshmallow Rolls and no sacs today, I just gave them water. Maybe there is a trend here. The first time they threw sacs was about a week in and right before watering. While the pot was moist, no sacs. They need watering again....sacs. The day after watering no sacs. Maybe there are some dry pockets in the root ball. I'm just trying to find anything to work with at this point. They are some sensitive plants, that's for sure.
Thank you for that write up. I love when breeders who know what they are doing explain it how it is. It's not about the money, it's about the plants, and the people who grow them, not that other green stuff we all love to hate. I appreciate you![]()
So far soMcb was solid for me , bummer about the trouble. That cross is sensitive unfortunately Hope they give ya no more trouble man
Her smoke will be worth it in the end . Hope u get a standoutSo far so![]()
That is why I'm keeping with them this time. I think I have their finicky asses figured out. When I water, top and bottom equal amounts. It takes some time but it gets dry down there quick and I think that's been the issue. Her smoke will be worth it in the end . Hope u get a standout
Have you tried those Creamy Greases? I just burned some and there's only a couple more sessions left. Very sad, I know I still have seed but not many.Ironically, a herm situation where Greases Pieces blew pollen on some Creamsizzle created some seeds that I gave away. They were grown out and raved about; propagated, and became Blue Collar Seeds flagship strain Creamy Greases. You never know.
I know this is to Amos but I had these seeds too but none germinated for me so I never got to try itHave you tried those Creamy Greases? I just burned some and there's only a couple more sessions left. Very sad, I know I still have seed but not many.
I've grown it twice now, it's really truly good. It's one that has me thinking, maybe it would be worth cloning and keeping around for a while. It sure would be sad to pop the last bean and get a dud. I've never kept a plant more than two runs.
Now I'm curious about Creamsizzle too, did you use it in any other projects?

Sorry for spaming your journal with questions to Amos, couldn't help myself.I know this is to Amos but I had these seeds too but none germinated for me so I never got to try it![]()
It's all good. Not spam to me if it's discussion about anything in general lol. That's pretty much anything. I like seeing activity on here besides my own.Sorry for spaming your journal with questions to Amos, couldn't help myself.
I never did. I split the seeds with @Bubby's n da lab and @Meatman , both of whom got terrific plants. The parents were both great smoke. I made Grape Greases and Starberry Greases with Red's GP. I made several things with the CreamSizzle. The two I can remember w/o looking are Pineapple Cream and Motor City Cream, but there were others.Have you tried those Creamy Greases?
