Mainely Genetics test run

Wut up peeps! I'll be doing a test run for Mainely Genetics and posting periodically in this thread. I was blown away by their Banana Splitzers and am really looking forward to seeing what these produce. The two test packs have no info on lineage which is a great way to get true results without bios. I really like that idea. I had to add a pack of Banana Slumper for good measure

If you haven't grown anything from Mainely you should give them a shot. Seed prices are great and I have yet to hear about an unimpressive offering. I hope you enjoy the show!!

Yeah I can't say enough about the banana Splitzer. Their cuts are pretty damn pricey but the seed packs are a good deal. They have great genetics to play with and have a great eye for keepers. I'm pumped

Yeah they've got some heaters! I've wanted to run the power couple for a while now. Maybe one of these days. I'll be popping your packs soon too. I thought about 12/12 when I was reading an article from high times about growing 12/12 and how some are starting to believe it produces more flower per sq. Ft. and produces better flower with less larf. You guys are way ahead of the curve. I'll give it a shot. What do you guys use for media and nutrients? What size pots?

In my garden I am in hydro and use big totes (28 gallon totes I think). I use botanicare grow and bloom products for hydro as well as a botanicare cal/mag and nothing else. My light set up are Mars hydros. Two 300W daisy chained together for the largest tent which is plenty of light for the space

I'm going to give it a go with my living soil. I'm going to try 3 gallon pots and top dress week 4. I'm gonna give it a go on some seeds I "unintentionally" made with bubble bath last round lol. I like running the "oops" seeds from time to time. Perfect seeds to try an experiment with!

Well after a 24 hour soak and into the towels, I was pumped about the 100% germination and really looking forward to this run. I sowed them in their starter pots hours before mother nature decided to give us a good ol fashion beat down! Over 2' of snow and high winds. Lost power and everything got cold for longer then some could handle. Pretty bummed but the last pic is all the survivors. Will still be a great run and I'll be rolling out the red carpet for em.
