mealybugs?

In Bloom
Is this a mealybug egg sack? I noticed a few tiny white 'specks' along several of the stems of this plant.. No signs of bugs anywhere just these curious white specks that are hard enough to feel and - when touched - break apart and sort of.. smear, not powdery, more granular like fine sand.... Any ideas?

If it was me I wouldnJust scan daily ( i do weekly Ipm scan no matter what lol ) but I think ur all good mon

That looks most consistent with a scale insect or a mealybug attached to the stem.

Why:
  • White/cream, waxy blob firmly stuck to the stem
  • Oval/irregular shape, considerately raised
  • Not fuzzy like mold, not crystalline like dried sap
  • Commonly hide on stems, nodes, and undersides, exactly where this is
