It’s been known to be one of the best in the world years ago . I’m sure a few old timers out there probably got a chance to enjoy it . I’d love to see it in today’s mix ..!

Shit I don't know if I ever even told ya @BigByrd’s Sticky Sprouts ...Back in the day worked with a old timer from meigs county..I ask him about some meigs gold seeds cause he was one of them old hillbillies that always had that homegrown fire..He brought me in a baggy..Had a bunch of shake and about 30 seeds..Said it was meigs gold...I cleaned the seeds out of the shake and rolled a dube..Crazy killer..Worst part...at that time I wasn't even aware of what I had. Them beans got lost/misplaced when I moved from the house I at...Me and my uncle was just talking about that meigs gold...He went to college for forestry in Athens and said that weed was hands down the best shit he ever had...He said the guy growing it told him it was a cross between Afghani -purple Hawaiian - skunk...My uncle thinks you can just cross them three and come up with meigs gold again?. (Which he's trying now) Best of luck to him but he just don't understand how it works

Man you are in a better area to dig info out them hillbillies...That old dude I worked with name was Earl..He was old as shit then and that was about 2004..I'm going to try and contact some of the dudes that live down round them parts ...Maybe I can track down Earl..Hell if he's still alive I'm sure he's still growing it...that old man's weed was always top quality...Most of the time you would ask him when getting some from him. What kind is this and he would say....The kind ya smoke with a big smile...

He has breeder packs 100 seeds for 200$ on dcseed exchange and glg I believe.

Wonder if anyone has grown this out. Also from the area and now kinda wondering if I'm the guy ya know from the Navy living in Ohio. I can 100% say I know what this strain USED to be like, and I have proof lol short storytime. I joined the Navy back in the 90's directly after high school. Prior to going to boot camp you have to go to their processing station (Meps) up in Cbus. I passed the physical and all that and made it to the room with the recruiters to actually sign the paperwork when a super friendly recruiter i was talking to asked me all smooth like if I ever tryed any of that meigs co gold. In true 18 yo knucklehead fashion I replied with O Yea! or some stupid shit. He then busted out his notebook and asked me "When and Where" long story short I had to get a wavier to join but I guess I have US Military proof that I have in fact smoked Meigs County Gold back in the 90's.

You want meigs county gold? It is Acapulco gold bred with Skunk #3. Your welcome. At least that’s what a guy told me. I have seen it grow. It grows very slow and small indoors. You might get an ounce. The “bud points” as I call it, differ from most plants. It’s very unique.
