Mid-flower defiency - organic grow

maynardg

Rooted
Growing outdoors, mostly organic living soil, regular teas from worm castings / fish compost, and occassional Terp Tea Bloom for the flowering girls.

This is a Maui Wowie that has always looked very happy - now about 2 weeks into flower.
Does anyone know what she needs? These are from the middle.

Outdoor organic can be challenging! I recommend being proactive with nutrients. Try to stay ahead of the deficiencies, you can be aggressive with amount and frequency of nutrients. Its organics and plants only use what they need so its pretty hard to develop nutrient burn.

Kinda looks to me like maybe it dried out a little. I had some harder dry backs than I would have liked. A few times I had some drooping leaves, when those droopy leaves came back, they looked like yours. Plants that are in ground that haven't dried back like pots can look perfect. Been drier than normal in my spot. Early on in the season during a couple dry spells as the plants were growing larger above and below ground, I'd have to water a bigger circle around the plant because the roots would find drier soil, you could see it in the growth of the plants. Remember the roots will always try and spread to the same size as the canopy above. If the roots can't you've got to feed and water that much more.
