He has some videos on the best lights for a given size tent. For example, search youtube for this migro video for a 2 X 2 tent

"Best 2x2 100W to 150W LED grow light 2024"​

Or search migro for the best led for a 4x4 or 5x5.
HLG certainly makes great leds; I have a 135 and used to have a 260. But other lights might be as good at a lower cost , IMHO.

Great information.

I found it pretty wild the drop at 3 feet is not nearly as much as the inverse formula we had before

And...the far reds man. FOR THE WIN. I have a first gen meiju 3k board with 660s and that light still rocks buds hard.

I am tanned on march 1.

read an article about under/inter canopy lighting - article said that it can improve yields . but not that much = to me all the extra money and work isn't worth the end results. we are only talking 10% if that.have use side lighting many time with good results BUT side lighting work well in enclosed areas (closets, tents, ect) but still yields are increase by 10-15% ( mostly small buds on lateral branching) also have to watch out for light issues (too close to plants) (33watt 12by12 led panels - with 2 inches from plant)

Ok honestly, I think the whole wattage and even efficiency discussion seems to be getting less emphasis. What I mean by that: LED light fixtures keep gettin WAAAAY over-spec'd (people using 700w fixtures in a 4x4, that just seems crazy!) and it seems they just keep pushing that line further with each series of lights.
