The time has come. Everyone has limits, and I’ve essentially gone near sober with no grow for months now. My downstairs neighbor is resorting to shaking my entire floor with a poorly engineered “brown note”, while attempting to provoke me at every opportunity. Leafing through his public case records, he is a domestic abuser, fails to pay child support, illegal firearms, and so on. Normally I’d pay little attention, but this one has fixated on me.

So. Curious to see if anyone has any suggestions. A spare room. Whatever. I have two options so far out of state, but no guarantees. I can work essentially anywhere in the US, and am missing growing and seed making so badly I can’t explain. Thanks and stay safe everyone. ☮️

Appreciate the response. I have contacted them over 40 times by now. Despite his track record and regular threats, and failing to pay rent repeatedly, he somehow still remains. Has a warrant for restitution currently. So he’s basically squatting. I’d regress to my younger days and make a bloody mess, but I’m older and not trying to do time for assault or worse. His case records are not pleasant, and he seems to skate most everything he has been charged with. I’m nearly 100% certain I’ve even heard him beat a woman below me.

I’m leaving for several reasons, but this is the “cherry on top”. The landlords are more or less lawyers first, slumlords second. They are primarily interested in money first and foremost. And I’m tired of vacuuming up roaches to boot. I’m currently running a camera pointed at my car, door sensors, and my killer cat is on high alert. Plus my small pack of remaining local buds are aware, and a couple on this forum and ig. Regardless I’ve had it. This has been 3 months of the same bs. Sorry for the venting all. But give me a holler if anything comes to mind. Have a stash of beans from @LG/ and new clones from
@DemonTrich im dying to work on. And I could certainly use some sleep. ☮️

Agreed. It’s all reactive trying to provoke me. I’ve yelled back a few times, so I’m an easy target. I’m off to get the exterminator for now. Open to any location suggestions, I’m considering out west but a little risky. Funds aren’t too great either but I’ve managed with less in the past. Thank you guys ☮️

Dude. Get yourself a restraining/protective order. Now, now, now. Today.

With all of this as evidence, a judge will almost definitely grant it. Then when he breaks it, document and immediately call the cops. With a protective order in place they'll essentially have to arrest him immediately. (sure would be a pity if someone went and changed or super glued the locks while he was locked up) The nights that it gets bad, get a hotel room and deduct it from the next month's rent.

Also get in touch with a lawyer (multiple, preferably, so you have a range of advice) who deals with landlord tenant stuff. Your right to quiet enjoyment is being breached constantly by both your neighbors and the slumlords that won't deal with him, and you're likely already entitled to damages from both. Most housing lawyers will work on commission and will put you in contact with emergency housing resources in the meantime.

It sucks now, but you can make this work for you in the long run. The hottest fires make the strongest steel, and this way you can outsource beating his ass to the people he gets locked up with and teach some fucking slumlords a lesson.

All great advice bud thank you. I just folded and called the popo finally. Had the officer tell me to move immediately, and that my area is too dangerous in general. Restraining order is 80$ and I don’t want to touch my nest egg over this, but I might have to. The cop was on the level, said to move because the slumlords aren’t doing a damn thing. But now I’m the rat🐀. In this city… bad juju. I flatlined my bank moving in here so it’s not easy justifying spending on an insane scumbag. Sooo. Anyone got a spare room? Will grow for food. Fuck.

Dude, you're not a rat for standing up for yourself.

It's not like you're calling the cops on an innocent dude walking in the park or snitching on some corner boys selling flower or some fucking old timey mafioso mob boss. You've got a malignant narcissist asshole below you that needs to be taught a lesson, not a Mexican cartel. The justice system is great at breaking people, it's what it's designed for. You think anyone he gets locked up with will put up with his shit?

If you're really that tight over $80, I'm sure this site can raise it for you if you go that route. Let us know.

It looks like the sheriff might be beating me to the punch so to speak. His eviction is scheduled for today, appears he hasn’t paid up this time. I’m still planning on moving, and I’ll wait before I start to celebrate. But it’s clear after referencing his restitution # that something is in the works at the minimum.

I have to say. This has been a ride. This city is rampant with mental illness, and I’ve usually just smoked it all away and shrugged it off.

I’ve dialed up the exterminator for my roaches, and with any luck this disaster of a downstairs neighbor will be removed by the end of the day. I’ve saved his info just in case I need it, but at least for the short term i might get some actual sleep now. Fingers crossed. Thank you all for listening and stay safe☠️
 
A studio apartment went from 600 to 1600 in just over four years where I live. A 4 bdrm hous is like 4k minimum averaging 5k.


Rents more than doubled over COVID and aren't going down. I have to buy some land upstate and go do the homestead thing.

I’ve been researching that as well. Unfortunately for now this loonie below me is refusing eviction. This guy is a tick. I’m doing a good job keeping the bloodrage down. So far at least.
 
In a bizarre twist to my living situation, the joker downstairs has been evicted officially. And the hipster twits next door are clearly still babbling insults at the walls and creating noise disturbances. Like a virus it spread. At least downstairs is empty, minus the construction and lingering urine smell. Unfortunately it looks like the children next door are here to stay, and at least some of the “communication” through Sheetrock is undoubtedly them. Must be living off section 8 or mommy and poppy, always home, always foaming toxic filth at the mouth.

I’ve done enough counter surveillance to earn my fbi participation badge here. Tipping my hat and getting my move on asap. I’m disgusted by this experience. Might prompt a long drive out west, or a state near me. All depends on funds and how much patience I have left. Thank you for all the advice and love, I’m gonna need ten showers after this is settled. ☮️

It seems the jacks are always after blokes that get up and go to work everyday. Must be some commerce in it for them to bother hard working blokes and leave scum alone.
The other part of city of state might be better. Either way, move to somewhere you can lay you head down at night and get some good zzzz. A good night's sleep is a godsend.

Sup Frosty ☃️ Agreed for sure, I’m just going with the flow and being patient, have the two potential options for now. I’m not going to settle for anything but a 100% functional spot for me and my ladies.

It’s sad how this area has become more and more gutter over the years. Was recently driving through deeper city and watched a woman with tissue stuffed up each nostril, pushing road barriers into oncoming vehicle traffic. Then off to work watching a potential mugger spin around in circles pulling his mask off and putting it back on. The crackhead shuffle. Saw my carry and walked the other way.

Hope your situation is improving, I saw your IG posts. HMU anytime bud ☮️
