So, the wife and I have been looking into making a couple ollas for each (3beds-6ollas in total) of my 2.5ft x 9.5ft 37in tall raised garden beds. Built hügelkultur style for watering my outdoor garden this season. Ollas are those unglazed clay pots you bury in the soil and fill with water so the moisture slowly seeps through the walls and keeps the roots hydrated.

Has anyone here tried them for cannabis? I’m curious how well they work for conserving water and keeping plants happy during hot stretches. Any tips or experiences would be awesome!

Here is the kind of method we are doing. 2 large clay pots sealed together, no bottom hole/sealed hole on one. We will not follow to the T though, as I have some enhancements in mind.

Now here is the other part, @DopeDaniel you have a wheel and a kiln right! :ROFLMAO: Wondered if you have ever tried to make anything like this~

A kiln, no wheel.

Thinking you'll wanna use stoneware and under fire it. That's what I did with these.

Gusinng the link uses terracotta?
Underfiring allows the finished product to be more porus. I was using cone 6 clay fired to cone 4.
