I’ve seen this happen with South Indian varieties before, and the buds can come out fat and uniquely shaped. If you have the space, it’s worth keeping just to see how it finishes flowering. In my experience, genetic mutations can sometimes produce exceptionally potent herb. The triploid has started fasciation, "flat stem-itis".
I've had a few plants do this outdoors, this is a 1st indoors tho. Should I just cull it? Does anyone keep these?
