Sorry to hear that. Hermies suck and waste time and resources. Hope the smoke you do get is worth the trouble.it hermied and seeded up my tent. The Lemon Thai got hit hard, beans forming already
Yeah, I'm just trying them out as a meager attempt to curb the stretch of these crazy sativas. They're not hitting the lights yet, so far so good. Also, hoping to beef up some of the lower buds a little bit on the hybrids.you didn't waste any time @Trichitect getting those UC lights in there huh?? lol has it been long enough to tell a difference yet?
No worries my friend@Trichitect
Sorry to hear you ended up with a hermie
I primarily work with Peruvian genetics outdoors and in greenhouses under natural sunlight, and I’ve had great success with them in those environments without hermaphroditic traits showing up. In my experience, the times I have encountered hermies have almost always been with indoor landrace sativas or when plants were subjected to excessive stress.
Because equatorial sativas can be a bit sensitive and touchy, I’ve focused most of my breeding and selection work outdoors under natural conditions to minimize stress and allow them to express themselves as naturally as possible.
