Gotcha, we showed up around 4. I think I know now who you were and I apologize for not walking over and introducing myself. I was initially looking for long red hair and wasn't really sure. We talked with Stray for a bit and a handful of others, then spoke with Bodhi for a few minutes before heading out. We're going to get someone to take care of locking up our goats and chickens next year and camp out for a night.
Damn brother, I wish I knew. I definitely woulda introduced myself and my son. Funny how many folks think my profile pic is really me lol. It was just a pic I found online that I used "real quick" about 12 years ago when I finally started getting online for canna forums. I suppose theres no way I would ever change it now lol. Ive had the same pic on all forums/accounts/etc since day 1. I think maybe I should probably go by "HydroGrey" now lmao

Brothers Grimm gear is usually based on variants of Cinderella 99 or Airborne g13.
Not sure how they manage their tester products.
Several strains have been testers a few years, which is odd.
Some testers have names and others do not.
I'm growing a clone of 'Northern Lights / C99' outdoors this year and it's a monster. Easily the biggest plant in the garden.
Also got a few 'Queen of Soul' clones that are kicking some serious butt.
(QOS is like C99 on steroids.)
When it comes to the Farm Bill changes in November, I'm surprised how nonchalant many growers are.
They either think there's going to be a last minute revision to the rules, or they have enough seeds to last a while.
Not sure how the law enforcement folks plan on enforcing the new seed rules anyway.
They'll have to either do some type of genetic testing, or grow them out.
Both options seem unrealistic.
I bought a few extra packs, but it just dawned on me that I will probably not live long enough to grow all of the seeds in my beanbag.
This year I'm growing mostly clones outdoors because growth, yield, and quality are already known.
Has anyone done the seed equivalent of an estate sale online? Like if someone passes away unexpectedly.

I think a lot of people are looking at this from the wrong angle.
The average home grower probably isn’t the easiest or most practical target. The bigger issue is the businesses selling the seeds.
Modern businesses rely on digital infrastructure for almost everything: payment processors, banks, e-commerce platforms, web hosting, domain registrars, shipping accounts, advertising, and merchant services. If a law clearly prohibits the commercial sale of certain cannabis seeds, enforcement doesn’t necessarily require law enforcement to genetically test every seed to seize ur website, money and everything in the illegal activity .
Instead, regulators could focus on the companies. If a seed bank can’t legally sell a product, payment processors could stop processing transactions, banks could close accounts, online storefronts could be removed, advertising could disappear, shipping services could become more difficult, and websites could lose important business services. A business doesn’t have to be raided to effectively be shut down if it loses the ability to accept payments or operate online.
Could businesses switch to crypto or person-to-person payments? Sure, some probably would. But that creates other challenges. Many customers don’t use crypto, and operating a business solely through crypto or direct transfers generally reduces convenience and may limit the customer base. Businesses also still rely on websites, hosting, domains, and other online services to reach customers.
That’s why I think the seed companies have more to worry about than individual growers. Even if enforcement against individual seed possession is rare, making it difficult or risky for businesses to legally operate could significantly reduce availability over time.
Of course, exactly how any future law is enforced will depend on the final wording, agency guidance, and court decisions. Nobody knows for certain what enforcement will ultimately look like until those details are settled. But I don’t think it’s realistic to assume enforcement would require authorities to grow out every seed or perform genetic testing on every package. There are many other ways governments regulate or restrict commercial businesses besides testing every individual product. only takes money and greed and narcs to easily seize ur cash and ruin ur business when policy if read like for shopify is no illegal and most are.

I'm not entirely sure how it's going to go either. I heard rumor that it could be up to a 250k fine for sending seeds, and if that's true I'm sure people are really going to freak out. From what I understand it seems a brick and mortar store front would be the way, at least here in MI.
Not sure on the seed estate sale. I've seen families sell bits and pieces to specific people based off the owners will, and only one that I know of where the daughter was trying to get rid of the whole thing at once. I have specific packs that I've asked my girl to get in certain peoples hands if something happens to me so they don't go to waste, and there's others she would grow out. Are you looking to get rid of a bunch of yours?

Just be ready to see a 50.00 pack quickly go up to 300. Risk and reward policy in the underground market, cash by mail will be the way until or if they lift the ban, which I'm sure won't be the case. It's all paving the way for the fda and pharma to take the industry and we all go back underground like it used to be. On a negative side, we will be seeing a lot of falsely labeled and panhandled genetics make their way to the masses disguised as "budget friendly", but we should also see some very unique work come through as well, just have to watch for the solid ones in the game.

Oh shes nice, you'll have to post more of her over the season. Copa has it marked (outdoor only) mid-late Sept. What kinda stem rub she giving off so far? Ive never grown out Vale Tudo or any crosses and that pack is really just an S1 so Im curious about what his mom cut looks like after seeing yours?
