Sounds like every other "road kill skunk" breeders have put out so far.. none have those RKS terps, it's just a cash grab.

MY state.... Calling things a Skunk when they don't smell like a Skunk.... I have at least 3 types of weed that will put up Skunk smells, it's just that they aren't ONLY Skunk spray smells, there's other smells in it.

Looks like I finally have my chance at accidental pollination of bagseed being an elite cut... LOL

Skunk #1 x Gorilla Glue x Triple OG X Road Kill Skunk male. Looks like some good genetics to me even if the profund skunk phenos don't reveal. From what I've gathered from all my reading, the strong skunk oder seems like a recessive trait that randomly comes out even in unsuspecting strains. Ak bean brains talks about this with like three different genetics that he runs in a few of his interviews. I believe most breeders isolate these finds for a hopeful outcome.

I have a trustworthy source that has a real Skunk of Skunk #1. So I know it's there somewhere. I've had Cheese crosses come out with it multiple times too, but with those ones, it wasn't "just" Skunk smell like I remembered, it was usually with another smell (cat urine being the main one) but I'm glad people still care.

I'm always interested in alot of the eary seedbank verity, SSSC, Sensi seeds, Nevil Schoenmakers work. Alot of crosses apear to be derived from these early seedbank genetics including skunk #1. But as one can conclude that most of these old lines have been altered in 40+ years. But there are still people coming up with old freezer beans and tissue culture preservation efforts.

Yeah bro, there was actually a High Times article a while back about "The Great Skunk Hunt" where they were looking for the real deal. They went through a lot of Cheese too from what I read, and one of the things that came from this, was the Alpha Skunk Cheese I ran this season. It's awesome to say the least haha

Even though I wasn't around growing at the time, from everything I've read, the original Skunk #1 started being selectively bred to be more "floral" because of the lack of filters at the time, and they started messing around with selection a lot more, getting more floral scent in it, and, of course, the one and only Cheese plant being found around this time. I guess I'm 50/50 on that, because on one hand, I understand the wanting to hide the smell, and of course the Cheese coming out from that, but it sucks they couldn't keep it around

How were your results? This is the Gorilla Roadkill. I have other strains more skunky than this. I offered a 22 strain box set so everyone could see what the male did to various strains. The front end will always be the mother plant the back end flavor the male plant. My pineapple roadkill for example is pineapple on the front pallete, skunk on the back side. I in the GRK I had some feedback of skunk, vanilla, gas. GRK is Skunk 1 x Gorilla Glue x Triple OG x Roadkill skunk. Everyone wants skunk spray in Roadkill. Cheebe tells you its been changed to express the burnt rubber funk vs the skunk. Roadkill is burnt rubber funk. There are also other compnaies claiming they have Roadkill which is not cheeba stock. My Trinity cut is pretty skunky too. I am releasing Trinity x SHIT soon.

Skunk 1 was mastered to include OG kush in the recipe. The recipe changed over time yielding a sweeter skunk 1 end result. You would have to look at the exodus cheese line to find the skunk.
