Smokie's Spot

Yeah I think she's that good anyway. She's pretty special man for real. I don't know if she's a one of kind left out there of lemon skunk but this one is definitely a good one. I've had her for around 5 or 6 years I think and I've tried reversing clones of her 3 times and have gotten a total of 9 seeds lol.
I introduced this plant to the commercial grow about a year and a half ago and she's done really well. People around the state seem to like it.
9 seeds is rough, but hey you at least got something! That's not easily done at all haha.
But for sure on the cheese cross 👊. I have a cheese we hunted from around 50 Buddha seeds, I know it's not the real but it does have its own thing going for it.
I've never had a chance to try that one honestly, it just isn't something I've ever ran across before. How is it ?
Should pair pretty nice 🤞. If all goes well with the reversal, I'll hit the Cheese, Chem D, Slymer Snacks, Tropicana Cookies and my Super Skunk with the crazy serrations.
Oh yeah that would be awesome! Super Skunk's serrations kind of remind me of the "real" Cheese in a way, I wonder if that's like a phenotype that has some throwback potential. The leaves are REALLY neat looking.
Lmao, "fmunda cheese" is the cheese from under your ball sack. I don't know what it smells like 🤣 🤣 🤣

Great; Now I have to go outside and sweat for a few hours just to itch and sniff my fingers :(

Certainly 💯 lol.

It's more sweet than rank. It still has that funk in there but not the hit you in the face kind. Kind of a slight berry smell, really weird but in a good way. The structure is on point with the other so called real cheeses.

For sure, it's a skunk #1 x Afghani so the lineage is very close. You can definitely tell it got the sweet funky terps from the Afghani. I'm hoping it will bring back some head ringing funk in the crosses.

For real, I've heard quite a few times how hard they are to work with.

Oh I love that Cheese structure bro; If you don't top it, you have a Christmas Tree look, with those giant tops everywhere LOL. What are the effects like on her ?

Yeah that should turn out nicely with parental lineage like that! I got my first Skunk #1 seed coming up the other day in the tent. I know damn well it'll probably be floral and shit, but it's still Skunk that I've never gotten a chance to smoke, so I'm just interested in trying it out honestly. Maybe if I reversed the shit out of like 50 of them to get recessive traits to come out I might find something LOL. But it'll be just smoke for me. Skunk #1 is, in my opinion, one of the most important crosses ever done, and it lead to SO many things we take for granted today.

LOL all those roots fitting in there is pretty awesome. I've seen "micro grows" where they try and do everything in a red party cup, but that's on another level.
It's funny you mentioned that. The first time I ever saw a sea of green was on a VHS tape about growing around 25 years ago. It had to be from the early 80's. It had a guy that was growing in an old trailer house, and everything was in solo cups. He probably had 400 or so in each room with a couple HPS bulbs just hanging over them. It was a crazy thing to see so long ago. I dreamed of doing it one day then I thought about all the watering lmao. Wish I could remember the name of the film 🤔🤷.

Broooooooo! The watering.... 400 cups ? Shit I'd need a PVC pipe and just try to aim best I can LOL that's back breaking.

Well I'm still alive lol. Just been going through the paces of life. Had a few things happen and it slowed my growing down to a halt. I still have most of my genetics going, some barely but going. I am trying to be back in full swing in a few weeks 🤞. Glad to see y'all are still rocking it here at pH 👊

The next time you take this long to check in I'm kicking your ass

Hey Smokie!
The paces of life are real brother. Glad you’re alive and hopefully well. Just seeing your check in. I’m right there with you as far as activity on here. Not because I don’t want to, just life man.
Be well brother!

~Tex
Hey Tex, thanks brother, I hope your doing well too my friend. Life does just sneak up on us sometimes. I'm going to try to be a little more present as soon as I get something to show and have more time. You be well too man and be safe out there.
