Banana OG x Purpz still a wee bit droopy but I see some improvement:



I forgot I had a bag of AZOS in the garage so I watered the droopy plants with 1/2 tbsp/gal pH to 6.1-6.4 and overnight, this is what I got

They might be ready to flip this weekend

Well shit, the droopy plants are still droopin', now I'm almost sure it's the cold (68°f lights on) that's slowing their recovery. That, and I'm probably hitting them with water that's colder than they like, tap water this time of year is REALLY cold and I've been making fresh mixes as needed instead of letting the mixes sit room temp like usual.

I was so impressed by purpz by hsc I rebought a 2nd full pack and ran it lol . only funny part is 1st pack only one was barely purple and rest all pure lime green. idgaf . The profiles are great thou . Gmo and gorilla butter profiles to max!

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!! Positive plant response from the droopers

They've looked like this for a couple days, I wanna make sure they still look like this for a couple more days then I'll flip em.


All plants are on risers except the Banana OG x Purpz, so I was able to get the tower fans oscillating again.

The Cali Octane Triploid has REALLY THICK branches, so does the Papaya Pancakes but damn, at a glance the triploid is starting to kinda show off more than the rest in a way. Bigger leaves, more visible vigor, branches thicker than your granddad's chili

Time to cage em up:

I gave Banana OG x Purpz my tallest cage because I think it's really gonna stretch. Cleaned off everything below the first ring.


The sensor is about 18" below the light and is about at the level of the tallest tops of the tallest plant.


The light levels @ sensor level, @ 75% power

And at 100% power

I put the light at about 70% for now.

The short plants got bucket booster seats. The one in the back-left got a stack of dollies as it's booster. Decently level canopy


Three are showing flower after 10 days! Hell yeah

Day 14 flower & everything got a HEAVY defoliation, filled one orange bucket with leaves. *Sorry I didn't take a "before" pic but here's the "after"

At this angle, it still looks like I coulda went a lil bit harder

Banana OG x Purpz: SUPER stretchy all throughout veg, a very lanky plant. Looks like it'll stack nicely, we'll see. Oh & she bounced back VERY nicely from the last transplant mishap.

Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting: this has been a structurally normal plant almost boring lol! *Even with that little mishap after transplant, I always blame myself first & not the plant, it bounced back ideally

Papaya Pancakes: this mfer is SUPER SQUAT and BUSHY! It took quite a while to defoliate just because everything was so jammed tightly together. Will need another defoliation after some flower stretch, if any

Cali Octane Triploid: this one is also SUPER SQUAT, but not as bushy-tight as Papaya Pancakes. The fan leaves on these reach halfway across the plant & fill every teeny little space, also took a long time to clean-up & could also still use another once-over.

I was bored the other night & stem-rubbed each plant ---- and I'd like to preface this next part that I don't take much stock in stem-rubs more often than not, it just smells like "green stalk" to me, BUT, I shit you not, the BBC x VF stem-rub PUNCHED like a whiff of Vicks Vapo-rub wife confirmed. I was like HOLY SHIT. And I swore on one whiff, the Banana OG one had a candied banana vibe but I couldn't recreate it more than one single whiff

Went a little harder on the defoliation of the two short plants in front. Day 18f.

Banana OG x Purpz is 43" from substrate to the highest top.
BBC x Vanilla Frosting is 34" from substrate to tippy-top.

Papaya Pancakes is a measley 23" from substrate to tip-top.
*CA Octane Triploid is 25" from substrate to highest top.


This oughtta do it for defoliation in general, from here out will just be an occasional leaf pull.

Papaya Pancakes. SUPER tight bud stacking, and noticeable Papaya terps already on the sugar leaves



Banana OG x Purpz. The tallest of bunch BY FAR, and visually the frostiest & furthest into flower I'd say, but not by a huge margin. It's just generic-sweet & nothing very distinct.



Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting. Similar to B OG x P, just a generic-sweet vibe and nothing distinct. Stem-rubs are still Vicks Vapo-rub but the sugar leaves aren't. Very slight blueberry vibe.



*Cali Octane Triploid. Tight stacking similar to but not as tight as the Papaya. Really nice gas/dank vibe on the sugar leaves, not super loud but you can tell this one fixin' to be a gas bomb

Day 35f and I've FINALLY been able to get humidity below 60% at the trade-off of higher lights-off temps.

Running the air conditioner is out of the question, so I'm just yeeting it thru the higher room temps to keep moisture in check. So far so good.

Day 43f and we got some "floppers"

Banana OG x Purpz.

Both the BBC x VF and the B OG x P have some back-side floppers. I'll need to get in there tomorrow and do some tethering and probably defoliating.

The front two, the CA Octane and the Papaya Pancakes are short, thick & stout. Neither of them probably even needed the cages

I typically just aim for 70 days finish, but everything is looking more like 60-65 days probably.

The varying heights and platforms have been odd to navigate since I still hand water, so I'm itching to get things wrapped up here.

Day 48f and getting unseasonal high heat right now trying to push thru without running the house a/c too much, but I'm having to run a large dehumidifier which is also adding to heat

Anyways, some updates:
Papaya Pancakes: DUDE! As this one ripens, it's getting a sort of sweet milky vibe, like the milk after a bowl of Fruit Loops. Fades to a stinky tropical fruit candy, REALLY nice.



Banana OG x Purpz: this one is now starting to get a bit distinct, a slight banana candy sweetness with a funky backing. The first to show any sort of fade or possible mild deficiency



Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting: still bland indistinct-sweet but as it ripens has a sort of "dirty" smell. Visually the frostiest of the group. Not so sure about this one



*California Octane Triploid: the darkest green of the bunch and is the most vigorous overall, but so much so that like "triploids are the answer" but man, this one is a time-warp to the 90s for my nose

Day 58f and honestly I think I'm gonna take two down tonight maybe three.

Papaya Pancakes. The furthest behind, will probably need to go 63-70 days. Still has that milky tropical candy vibe, but is starting to get an almost nail polish remover-bite to the aroma! My favorite smell of the bunch.


Banana OG x Purpz. I smoked a day 50 sample nug of this and it was really nice, a bit of a garlicky funk backing and a light sweetness up front. Heady effect. The only one showing any fade so it might come down tonight.


Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting. Super bland on the sample smoke. Visually this one looks the most done. A GREAT looking plant, just not much else going on, not a lot of fragrance either. Pulling this one tonight for sure.



*Cali Octane Triploid; the unofficial tag-along has become the star of the show! Holy shit. This one makes me almost fall in love with gas all over again. It still doesn't make me a believer in triploids, per se, but damn, at very least this is a top-notch pheno I may pull this one, too, but I might let it hang out with the Papaya another week.

Alright, so yeah me & my buddy ended up taking two plants down last night, @ day58f

Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting. Dragged her into the hallway for a pic. 36" from top of substrate to the tallest top.

Banana OG x Purpz, way too tall & awkwardly heavy to move into the hallway, so I snapped a pic in the tent. 45.5" to the tip-top.


Luckily the weather started to cool down, so that should help slow down the drying a little bit.

Cali Octane Triploid came down last night @ day 61, and it looks really really nice!

26" from substrate to the tallest top. Man, these buds are ROCK SOLID.


Now, my drying rack is staggered but that's ok


Now, there's only Papaya Pancakes left:


It's just still hella green and getting more pistils poppin' up, so I'm gonna push her a lil further. I think I'll pull this when the first two pulled plants dry, so like maybe 7-10 more days.

I'm not doing any flushes this round, not using Athena Fade either. I'm just tapering down the feed, and for the last week for each plant it's only getting 10ml/gal Bloom base and about 2ml/gal Hydroplex/bloom booster and about 4ml/gal Liquid Karma. No CaMg, no silica. For the last week, each plant gets extra runoff, for the Papaya it'll be more like its last two weeks.

Alright! Two down, two to go!

Trimmed up the Blueberry Cupcakes x Vanilla Frosting, and the Banana OG x Purpz. Took 7 days to dry, and honestly I probably shoulda trimmed them a day sooner the Blueberry cross especially, wispy buds got a tad over-dried, the Banana cross is just slightly over-dried as the buds are a bit fuller.

All the buds were pretty airy, this is probably the biggest nug of the bunch, lol . Super bland mild sweet.

I got 3.7 respectable oz.

Banana OG x Purpz

Also not huge buds, but, are much fuller. The top buds specifically were REALLY nice on this plant, but there was a significant amount of medium-larf to deal with, not as bad as the Blueberry one.

4.7 solid oz on this one the aroma of this one is a trip! Sometimes I swear I feel like I'm smelling what's supposed to be the Blueberry x Vanilla one, like did I mix up these plants? --Then I break up a nug, and there's a very mild banana -candy sweetness, then a sort of society garlic-funk behind it. Not freakin bad at all

Because of everything being slightly overly dried, I had to implement "nature's Boveda packs" and put some bendy stems in the jars. My dad gave me two 55% Boost packs to try.


I mean damn, already a half lb of herb off these two, that's not half-bad for a penny
