Thanks for the kind words. They are looking very healthy mate. I love it when they pray like that outdoors. Great selections. Anyone in particular a standout in your eyes. I usually find there is one that always seems to draw my attention.
Great stuff
That sucks bro. What a crappy trend I started. I haven't messed with the ones that got me, although I sure would like to see it gone, I'm too chicken to get to close. Baldfaced hornets that I have are actually good to have around, they eat a lot of flies and caterpillars, two of my worst enemies. I still say the yellowjackets are the worst of them all, their nests are always hidden so they always find you before you find them. How I didn't see that huge nest hanging just above my head I couldn't say, I really am going blind.Trying to get some yardwork done today, weed-wacked my way right into a yellow jackets nest. Took at least 10 stings in what felt like a second. Bastards got me all up under the armpits & all over my backFucking day wrecker!
I immediately thought of you @Bullfrog
Licking my wounds & plotting my revenge now....

I must have walked buy the nest a dozen times or more and they never bothered me until I took the wheelbarrow though there loaded with compost and a pitchfork sticking up in the air. Musta been too much for them to handle and the attack order went out. I've snuck past it once since I got stung looking for my glasses and they didn't bother me, didn't find the glasses either. Best idea though is to steer clear. I'll walk the long way around before walking past their nest.great predators for garden
I had my father who’s 86 old tell me a few days ago he had some hornets attack him also , feisty bastards but shoot my guess their views we are Godzilla size and attacking their home and families
I think he said he got stung like 3-5 times before he could get out of there. I guess the nest was in the chicken coop and he semi disturbed it. Luckily his a super tough dude and the spots where he got hit didn’t look that bad.. I was impressed for his age how good he handled thatI must have walked buy the nest a dozen times or more and they never bothered me until I took the wheelbarrow though there loaded with compost and a pitchfork sticking up in the air. Hope your dad doesn't have any bad reactions. I wonder how fast your dad got moving, 86 is getting up there to be messing with bees. Damn man.

About the same here, really not bad considering how thick they got & the extreme humidity they were dealing with. I'm hitting a few ladies with the Iranian pollen tonight, hoping to pass on those early flowering traits.Nice grow 'bro !
I got a little bud rot on one of mine also; only about 5-10% though.
Agreed, I never had an auto finish without super bad rot issues cause of the time it was fattening /harvest worthy was worse time for it and rain .I was wondering if you guys would have any rot on those early Iranians. I've tried Autos outdoors many times and I've never finished one without rot. In a tent they were fine, but they rot outside every time in my garden. The fat buds in the heat and humidity just don't work. Humidity is bad in the fall too, but the temps are much lower, mold don't grow as fast in cooler temps. I've found I don't want them starting too early cause I don't want fat buds when the heater is on high. There's a sweet spot when it comes to outdoor growing and it aint that easy to find plants that fit perfect. Don't help Ma is a little schizo, with what she throws at us.
Yeah, I remember seeing you had outdoor leds on the Iranians for a while I think. Smart, trying to push them back some. If I were to try autos again, I'd wait until mid-July to sow the seed. July and August isn't a good time to have fat buds on plants, at least in my garden. I started some photo's this year end of June I think and they're looking good, just starting to flip though so we'll see if they finish up or not.Agreed, I never had an auto finish without super bad rot issues cause of the time it was fattening /harvest worthy was worse time for it and rain .
I’m semi lucky cause i started a lil late for the Iranians but they are so chunky I really hope I don’t get budrot. I would chop now but I have no area to dry stable-wise environment wise. I’m chopping in 1-2 weeks indoors and my goal was to chop the, same time. luckily I don’t see much rain this week and it seems like weather is okay. need to bend the buds and see if I see any starter budrot . Not used to mature plants right now outdoors ool
Chunky
Yeah, they have very Sativa like leaves for an Indica type plant. Idk for sure, but I'd guess you're instinct is correct, it's a natural adaptation to environmental conditions. Whatever it is, it works out pretty nice for my outdoor conditions. I'm pondering sticking a fully vegged plant out in early May next year to see if she'll finish up around mid -July.so maybe a dumb question for you @Trichitect and @doober but why does the Iranian landrace (and others I've seen from Pakistan, Iraq) have such thinner leaves? is it genetics from having lots of sunlight, higher elevation, low RH% or some combination of all those variables?
Interesting. Ill take a shot of the leafs off mine if I remeber tomorrow ..My leafs were super huge indica like , 2-3x size of my hands and reminded me of bubba where if u don’t remove the leafs it will shade ur plant so much lolYeah, they have very Sativa like leaves for an Indica type plant.
