Thanks bro.Looking good! Do you get your soil tested at a lab? I've always wanted too, never have.
I will also try to shut down for the summer next year. Tried this year, but just couldn't do it. Energy bill was rough. But I needed the plants to keep me busy, and for mental health. It's the only consistent good thing I have going nowadays.
Yeah, this is the second time for sampling using Logan labs via Build A Soil. Last time I didn't pay for interpretaion and I also sampled both beds. That was just under a hundred bucks per iirc (spring of '23) and I saved a decent chunk of that by not "over" ammending. Mostly in an attempt to balance (reduce) organics and focus on minerals. Granted the ewc would be basically free if I didn't buy them but I didn't reammend with them at the start of runs like I had in the past, just for topdress.
Its been 6 or 7 cycles going pretty hard with mineral sulfates so I want to be sure I'm not over doing it there and I figure the extra 60 for interpretaion by someone who has degrees in this is pretty cheap for the potential knowledge.
Not true. I think yer pretty good at navigating the ancilary bs to answer the questions you have to make it consistent. Molasses is stickey. It's the only consistent good thing I have going nowadays.
