And can i treat for them in flower ? I get them every year and have always just used the sticky traps. I’m in fully organic soil and don’t want to ruin the biology because my plants are thriving. Please chime in if you can help and advise on a particular product to use. TIA

Looks like fungus gnats.

I use mosquito bits either mixed into the soil or sprinkled on top. The product is just a strain of bacteria that eats the larvae in the soil and breaks the life cycle. It's harmless to your soil and is just adding more microbes (and corn cob pieces). You can add them at anytime since the only thing they affect are the gnat larvae.

Just had some of those in my cocoloco - I let everything dry out and put some DE on the top along with the standard sticky traps. Caught them fast so nothing got out of control.

That's a hell of ALOT of fungus gnats. Bti works (like said above). I like to use 1/2 bti "donut" per gallon. Fill 1/2gal with water, add 1/2 bti donut, shake, shake, shake. Fill to 1gal line. Shake shake, and water as needed.

This works as well (5ml/gal).

Schwaggy… can you elaborate on how you’d treat. Just grabbed a bag. Do i want to soak the product and then soil drench or ……??

I know ! Yellow stickies always covered it in the past but i feel i need more help now. Every time i top dress w EWC the gnats seem to blossom.

I posted a great tek for bti "donuts" above. You can break up the donuts as well, but in my findings, making a solution of h2o and bti worked the best. The microbe-lyft works even better. Once DE gets wet, it's useless. Top dress with sand works, but the little fuggers just find the drain holes to escape. The fix for that, is to encase the pot in pantyhose, the fg have no where to go as they are stuck. Kinda like how mosquito netting is ised for camping.

And speaking of those yellow sticky traps, make damn sure you do NOT bump your hair on one of them. I've made that mistake 3 or 4x over 15+yrs. Isopropyl alcohol/ water, simple green/water, and dawn soap will be needed.
Lol

Haha thx demon. Lucky for me, i’m bald. When i went to get the “bits” i also saw the donuts. But i grabbed the bits after reading schwaggys response. Can you offer advise on how i should use the bits ? I’m going to treat these plants tomorrow afternoon. On a good note, my ladies are absolutely rocking. And NO, these are not your clones.
