What cameras are you using to take quality pics of your plants?

I'm curious as well. My current phone has probably the poorest camera option of all phones I've ever owned.
Have been looking at the Olympus Tough TG-6 as a compromise between abilities and price, but am hoping to find it discounted before pulling the trigger....

The TG-6 looks awesome. If I can't find anything somewhat comparable for a lower price I will just save for one of those.

Mostly a Nikon DX-40, some with a Nikon D5100. Cameras like those can be had cheap now. Would like to get a D90 too, because that body has a lens motor and that would help with a zoom lens I have.

Anyway, they are all same family, so lenses interchange.

I just got an Iphone 13 Pro Max and Its freaking awesome. I still havent figured out all the new features, but paired with my Sand Marc lenses its pretty tough to beat for on the fly shots.

I believe the specs on the two cameras are nearly identical but I prefer the quality of the 3a xl over the 4a.

I have a Samsung. Photo button, press, has a zoom in trying to work out. Different settings. May aswell be in ancient Mesopotamian scripture. Better chance of figuring that out than this technology business.

I've gone back and forth a couple times but I'm back to the pixel. Apple seemed to have better videos but as far as pics are concerned This Pixel 6 has been the best I've tried. Imo ?

macro is nice on iphone I know some people don’t have a steady hands and it might be hard for some but you can get some good results

My 13 pro max failed 1.5-2 years ago ish and I had to replace it. luckily my phone service did trade up for not much upgrade /retail of new phone. I now have a iPhone 15 pro. Amazing how good the camera’s are vs I remeber using my expensive camera for photography and I won’t even touch that and do all that work compared to these modern devices. Wow

Always go with google over Samsung. So much bloatware installed on Samsungs. Also they lame gui they paste over Android. Google also supports OS updates longer than Samsung.
