The summer of 25 was horrendous for ticks. I'd find a dozen on me every time I went to the farm. Don't think I've found a dozen all year this summer. That 6 feet of snow we got in mid-March didn't do them any favors I don't think. I didn't like the snow at the time but if it knocks down the ticks like that, I'm all for it. I hate them disease ridden things so much.Crawled through a fire ant bed while thinning okra.
I hate fire ant more than I hate ticks and I really hate ticks, especially the ball suckers!

I've read that arachnophobia is one of the most common, with ophidiophobia also being up there,
but I like always liked these critters.![]()
I always figure they are there for a reason, that if there is enough prey to support them in my home, I welcome their predation.I like them when they are not in my house.
I hate that one too. When I walk paths in the bush, I always have a walking stick or fishing rod in front of my face to break webs. They still get me on the deck sometimes though.Or when they dont put giant webs across my walkways. I hate the feeling of webs wrapped around your head/face
