And here's our little friend with the two sets of cotyledon leaves... but only one set of true leaves. I have to say, that's a new one on me.
Anyone seen any Turkish, Lebanese or Greek hashplant landraces or IBLs in their perusal of seed banks? Or North African pure Indicas?
I'm trying to find some pure indicas to trial that aren't from Afghanistan or India and they seem to be few and far between. I see them pop up in crosses but rarely on their own

Not sure it's what you're looking for, but Kwikseeds has Turkish, Lebanese, Egyptian and Syrian. I'm currently growing the ACE Lebanese, but it's sativa...

Thanks man! Checking out their site now. Really wish you could filter by Indicas vs Sativas. Unfortunately KwikSeeds was actually sold out of most of what I wanted.
One thing I've noticed with all these landrace banks is how little the names mean so you really have to spend some time researching. The Landrace Teams Greek offering is a sativa for instance, when most other sites seem to offer an Indica leaning Hashplant similar to the Turkish HP.
Also, I just saw a sativa on there with a 24+ week flowering time. Sounds fun...
Someday if I live a bit closer to the equator I'd love to give it a try outside, but you won't catch even my dumb ass trying to stuff that sucker in a tent in my basement lol

There really needs to be a better source for landrace seeds stateside. If I wasn't so lazy I'd start looking into sourcing bulk landrace seeds and start my own.
Another catalog to peruse - you have to email if interested, though, and the Indica/Sativa declarations are murky on some, as you previously mentioned - tltseeds

Wound up ordering direct from The Real Seed Company. Weirdly they had a bunch of stuff on their site that's sold out at Kwik Seeds. 2 packs each of Turkish and Sinai. The Landrace Team had some really interesting offerings but their prices are kind of steep so I decided to start here. Also I noticed they're Sinai at least is actually from TRSC and I'm not gonna pay double for the same seeds. Their Chinese Botanical Garden ascension sounds really cool though.
Hopefully I find something to work with in these packs, otherwise it will just be on to the next one!
