c99 was a big let down for me. Such a legendary strain, I thought for sure that it would be something load. The plants are super vigorous, extreme frost with some very nice bag appeal but the terps are like funky body odor without anything that tasted like much. Grew out 2 packs from Brother's Grimm probably 5 years ago. Hope you find something better.

Rick C. just recently released a version of c99 that is supposed to be closer to what most of us remember and had years ago. The c99 he has had for the last few years isn't as fast growing nor a speedy as the original. Good medicine for my ADD & helped me at least get some college under my belt.

The one they sold about 5 years ago. I feel so ripped off by Brother's Grimm, bought about 1K worth of seeds from them thinking it was gonna be something tasty but none of it was. Not the c99, Apollo 13 or Apollo 11. Just a massive cash grab. I will never grow another seed from them again.

Maybe thats why mister soul got the shit kicked out of him...
Doesn't surprise me to hear that. Low integrity for sure, taking so much of people's money when he knows it's not as good anymore. He was online telling people how this new release is exactly the same as the old one, "fussy critics" approved according to him. I spent $450 just on 3 packs of C99. The Rosetta Stone was bomb though, I will say that. limey haze

I wanted to try those but were sold out at the time and went with their Green Avenger. I was pretty happy with it. But a lot of you all have way more experience than me. I do have some f2s of Moscas C99 done by Reno genetics. I should pop some.

I heard that Mosca's C99 is actually pretty good. It's from the old seed stock. If you have some of the pre-release seeds those could be good. They must have been good at some point.

About 15 or so years ago, I bought some C99 from Beanhoarder at hempdepot.ca. Made some seeds at the time and still do every 5 years or so, so I don't run out. Tropical pineapple terps, which I love. Interestingly, the last plants I grew a few years back had a clone hermy on me, and C99 has a reputation of never herming.
