I may get some hate for this but this is the medium I use to start seeds, never had a problem with it. I know some people despise Miracle-Gro because it's owned by Monsanto and for other reasons. You gotta admit some MG products are useful, I also use their perlite with no issues.

Man did I just murder a bunch of seeds in this.

I have a 6 week old sasparilla that is 2 inches tall

:D

I use jacks classic 20 20 20 sometimes... i have no aversion to the blue.

I just cant get this to work. I also CANT use one of those soak and they enlarge peat things either.
I see people rocking the shit out of those and they are WAY cheaper than rockwool or Floraflex rooters :D

Generally speaking, i wouldn't flower anything in MG soil (not even fruit trees or tomatoes) but it's FANTASTIC at keeping stuff green. Grass, ornamental shrubs, vegging canna/mother plants, etc. 👍 my dad keeps his mothers in it

I have a bag of that here and it works fine. It needs to be hydrated a bit before I'll pot it up. Now I just use promix for seeds and that's been very good. I've probably grown 100+ plants in the good ole yellow bag MG potting soil cut with perlite. No issues and whatever is in MG for nutes is gone before you flip to flower. You will be feeding them.
The 2 cube ft bags came on sale at ace last year for $10 a bag..............I hope they run that sale again this year.

Sorry for going a little off topic but since we're on the subject of MG and it being owned by Monsanto.

Yesterday I was watching a documentary on the Vietnam war, and what do you know - they brought up Monsanto as being the creators of Agent Orange. The herbicide of course, not the strain.
The dioxins in agent orange, killed or deformed a lot of people. They're still cleaning it up in Vietnam til this day.

The idea behind using AO was to kill the vast vegetation of the jungle so the Vietnamese forces had no cover or concealment.

If your interested in the subject, look up "Operation Ranch Hand"

Why didn't they just use Napalm ? Clears out more than bush and brush.

I'm sure they dropped enough napalm too.

They used more bombs during operation rolling thunder than the entire WW2 conflict, bombing the Ho Chi Min Trail - the enemies main supply route.

Using herbicides was two fold not only did it destroy foliage but it destroyed the enemies food crop, essentially trying to starve the NVA & Guerilla forces out.

Not sure many people would call me "mature" but, not many would call me a hater either :) Use what works for you brother.
Oh man I dealt with plenty of haters on Facebook growing groups. too many trolls on social media or rookie growers who parrot what they read like it's a Bible passage with no real world experience to back up whatever bro science or bullshit misinformation they're spewing.

I'm very thankful for this forum, all good supportive people here. I don't think I've ever posted as much than on any other forum I've been a member of.

I know exactly what you mean. I haven't ever been a member of any other weed groups, but I've been on Facebook, and other computer nerd forums, and seeing the way people act when there's no one there to punch them in the face is... yeah LOL.

This is the only forum I'm on. I don't go anywhere else, and after seeing things from other sites posted on here now and then, I'm glad I didn't go to the others haha.

I got a few seeds a little while back, I've never heard of greenway solutions or toke a cola. I'm assuming it's a version of khola, anyone familiar this breeder or strain?

That Big Fuck is speaking to me, I like it. Grew a Watermelon Haze last summer. It's not a pure haze but man did it stink after a cure and the high was very strong coming from a regular hash toker. Didn't really smoke much of it because it was full of seeds. There are too many beans I'm dying to try.

Would love to see what you get when you decide to grow them out.

I've got more than enough seeds to last me awhile now. Akbb definitely got my attention on more than a few genetics like MTF, 89NL, Betrix choice, and his blueberry lines.

Im diving straight into the past with my future selections! After a few week trial I successfuly germinated single seeds of TKNL5 haze, 907 blue jeans, C&C shoreline/puck bx2, toke a cola, Katsu's 79 heirloom skunk, and a pair of mountain gold plants from Vermontman. I'll have to wait a few more weeks to sort out the males from all but the toke a cola and 79 skunk.
