Tough to get motivation to do updates. Greenhouse is doing well, it's my refuge, spending quite a bit of time just sitting in there.

Seeds popped recently
2/6 TTLT x (GG4s1 x Tomahawk)
4/6 TTLT x 7 Hills
6/6 Hash bean pile - hash was made with frozen dried material redried and seeds colleceted.

Jenny clone topped in prep for bansai, current bansai mom will be moved to the greenhouse for a short veg then light dep.

Room is getting cleaned, still need to ammend bed, going to rework the blusoak to a manifold system with a couple more drippers. Will select 3 of the recent starts once sexed, the rest will be done outdoor or greenhouseor coldframe.

Blackberry Breath light dep from a couple days ago.

Should be done in a couple weeks.

Bansai Jenny is gonna get moved to the cold frame and eventually transplanted to a 15 gal. I am gonna lst pretty hard to keep her below the roofline of the coldframe.

Couple of veg plants might start sexing soon (ttlt x gg4xth) and the ttlt x 7 hills are ready for 6" pots and the hash pile beans aren't far behind.

Gardening is looking stellar in there mang.
Dang that BBB is looking frosty for you.
??? Absolutely delicious, mmmm.
Be interesting to see if she gives the same terps for your grow style.
I let that cut go btw, so you have the only copy of her. Needed to make room for a new hunt, and someone had to go. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

Jenny does really well with LST, she likes to bush out alot, kinda like the HS do with all those nodes. She will need support when flowered, she gets all floppy under bud weight.

Thanks bro.

Yeah, that bbb is lookin good, I ended up chopping her yesterday, so she gone. Quarters were getting too tight with having to put the trashcan over her and the veggie garden is really ramping up. It was getting frustrating, also kinda a burden schedule wise so to allign with how I want my garden to be rather than force an issue...she gone.

I am really liking not having a flower room to care for right now and not having a serious veg area to take care of while harvesting allowed me to focus on the dry/cure and hashmaking. Now I can focus on having a strong veg, move through transition and into bloom without having to juggle all 3 at the same time. I don't think I will go back to perepetual, going to focus on fewer larger plants for now.

Thanks for the heads up on support needed for Jenny, thinking I will build a double trellis to put over her.

Lol, I'm staying perpetual, with fewer larger plants. No more overloading the rooms, was too work like for me. Lol
That, and I plan on being gone alot this summer for trips n stuff, lots of camping plans.

It's a struggle to not keep the flower room full up on plants, the room is there, but the time is not. Lol. I feel ya on that one.
I'm really liking no more than 4 or 5 in flower at any one time. Keeps it manageable for me, but imho I'll stay perpetual as I really enjoy the fresh harvests of new cultivars.
And mom's, gotta stay perpetual if I'm keeping the library stocked up. Lol

We had this conversation and I am going to stay with my plan of just running seeds and making selections in veg for what 3 to flower. I am dangerously close to being within our state mandated plant count lol.

I figure I will still have the opportunity for 5 harvests a year. Indoor no. 1 chopped by 4/20, spring light dep by June 1, indoor no. 2 into flower July 1 / chopped by October, outdoor/coldframe chopped by Nov.?, then a final indoor started late October, harvest around new years.

Transplanted both TTLT x (GG4s1 x Tomahawk) to 2 gal one is female (front) the other hasn't shown.

Might do a foliar to help them kick into gear but won't doing regular foliar feeds this round. It's not that Phylloscape didn't work, it may even be worth the price for someone crunching those metrics. For me it was the every other day pre dawn ritual, sucked the fun out of the hobby.

1/2 female on the TTLT x (GG4s1 x Tomahawk) - really need to come up with something shorter.
1/4 female on the TTLT x 7 Hills but I am gonna hold of culling any for a few days.

Topped the females TTLT x (GG4s1 x Tomahawk) back left, TTLT x 7 Hills back middle. The short fatty in the middle has had my attention and was hoping for a girl, if I see any evidence of frost in the next few days it'll get chucked (with). Small containers are the '21/'22 Hash pile.

Just mixed up the soil for her and the rest of the outdoor. Need to topdress so everyone can make it to transplant. Thinking about putting a couple 15 gals around the property gorilla style but going 1/4 on the TTLT x 7 Hills, I might just do that short fatty that way ?

Standing in a forest and I can't see the tree. Indicates lineage, rolls of the tongue and holy shit does it sound cool.
When u say no “foliars”

Are u still doing a ipm sprays?
I have not used any ipm foliar sprays yet this year I have done a sulfur burn in the greenhouse and am giving regalia (soil drench) every 2 weeks for pm.

Not to get distracted but it's kinda relevant, the timer failed during the sulfur burn and it went 10-12 hours or so. There is sulfur vapor condensed on above where the burner was. It is like a stickey trap loaded with fungus gnats now. I had applied bt and was on the verge of ordering some rove beetles, probably still will but its too cool in the gh still I think. So this was an unexpected win.

Back to IPM foliars - although grandevo and venerate are great I was too heavily reliant on them last year. I had a mentality that if I was religious about using them everything would be okay. That caused me a bit of complacency. I am also trying to time my crops seasonally indoors and out and through adequate shutdown and cleaning reduce pest pressure that way.

As it warms up I will have to utilize the foliar tools of ipm. I will rely on a knockout before resuming in full, it may be as simple as starting with botanigard in the rotation but more than likely will include a wide area application of spinosaid or mix of pyganic/botanigard or both.

This approach has been a great benefit in many ways one of which is I belive I have identified a preditor tic/mite and as such now have another potential arrow in the quiver that doesn't cost me a dime.

Twinklehawk on right, TTLT x 7 Hills on left.

TTLT was showin some serious stem roots so she got buried deep.

I put another 240W of boards up after the pic. 3 weeks of veg then flip. Gonna spray some Botanigard here in the next few days, then start grandevo and vinerate on a 10 day rotation, will do a sulfur burn probably just after flip.

Need to layout the BlueSoak and mulch too. This bed was amended with 2C / ft³ BuildASoil Craft blend, gonna run water only and see what that gets me.

What a refreshing site. That grow area is clean and accessible. Makes me wanna pull up a chair and just chill.
20220604_204127.jpg
Not having the tent in here is such a relief and the plan is to stick with just these 2 plants even though there is tons of room. I can keep the tent in the spare bedroom as long as it doesn't smell like fish or weed. So no top dressing and only seedlings and early teens, check, thanks hun.

Looks like you are gonna get to set up a new spot here in the not to distant future? Fun times.

For everything that got wet (18 beans, 12 popped) I am down to 5 girls.
1 Twinklehawk
2 TTLT x 7 Hills
2 Hashpile

The Twinklehawk had a cut taken but it's not lookin like it'll make it, got a few off one of the TTLT x 7 Hills (tall pheno) and wouldn't doubt it if all make it. These are both in the 3x3 in the shed. Gonna flip soon.

The other TTLT x 7 Hills (short pheno) just showed a few days ago, at least 2 weeks after the first one. It will join Jenny in the cold frame in her own 15 gallon.

The 2 Hashpiles I don't have a plan for, yet. They can't go in the cold frame (no room), I don't want to put them in the shed, they can't be easily seen in the yard, feeling like guerrilla style.

That's it, I'm within my state mandated plant count. ? ? ? even counting the unrooted stuff.
