Of the 2 plants, the shorter of the 2 is the most fragrant. Fruity, candy, sweet is the dominating smell with this strain. The taller Sativa leaner is a bit more fuel mixed with the sweet and is producing more frost overall as well. Its about 12" taller than the tallest plants in the tent so Im glad it stopped stretching lol. As you can see, it should be no slouch in the yield department. If I didnt know better I would think they were 2 different strains. The tall one is definitely a heavier feeder then the shorter one. They are both feeding from the same reservoir.

I might need to dig a little deeper in those Detroit Lemonade at some point. I got reports of intersexing on a couple of them when I had them tested so I didnt release them. Hard to say though because they were put into flower before they even reached 3rd node. From my personal experience, when I flower too early (before the plant reaches sexual maturity and nodes begin to stagger offset) I seemed to get the occasional balls on lowers. I've actually experienced this on this current pHamily run. I plucked the lower balls and its been good since. Some strains just dont like to be flowered before they are ready. It would be my job to hunt and work the ones that dont care in the Detroit Lemonade. As for my smell, it is getting better as each day passes and I feel confident it will come back 100%. Thanks for asking @Psychobilly ??

Bro, the Father in Law LOVED Detroit Lemonade, and him having been growing guerilla style out in the back woods for years, he didn't give a shit about having a few seeds pop up now and then, and though I understand that intersex issues are something that may prevent a release, for someone like myself, or him, where a couple seeds here and there isn't really an issue, it was good bro.

I'm not sure if you've ever seen me joke about the "Seaweed at the Beach" thing, but basically it's a joke I made up about the very VERY few strains I've grown that, once ground up and ready to be rolled, I take a pack of papers and scrape my tray to move all the weed to one side for rolling, and the beach part of that comes in from the look of piles of sand (Kief) that covers the front of the pile of weed. It looks kind of like a sandy beach with weed all over, and well, Detroit Lemonade did that.

It was actually the first one I saw do that really. There was SO much resin on those buds that it didn't matter if it was dry or barely dry enough to grind, it legit was just covered in resin, and we had massive balls of scissor hash trimming them. I can't really help much with if I had intersex issues, as it was only my second time growing, like ever, that I had those clones, and though I did have seeds, being outdoor, it very easily could have made crosses.

I do remember the massive bud structure, and the fact that for some reason that strain REALLY enjoyed our climate; That year we had early snow and even freezing rain, and I only lost like 2 buds ? I've noticed strains that get "frosty enough" don't really succumb to bud rot like you'd think, and cool weather seems to increase resin production, which, being non water soluble keeps moisture out. The colors of course were ridiculous and some of the prettiest I've had.

I still have some beans I saved from the clones I had, though if they are hermie beans or a mystery cross I'd have to hunt through to see how many, if any, males I got. That's one thing about growing outside; unless you see the Banana, it's almost impossible to tell if the seed you got was a stray pollen coming through, or, a selfed hermie from stress.

Glad to hear about your smell getting better bro! Wonderful news!!! Not just for you but your upcoming run.... How would I annoy you with questions if you can't smell ? LOL :)

Hope you're back to 100% sooner rather than later !

Greases Pieces x Herijuana by: @stanknugzz77 at approx 5 weeks

Stacking nicely with foxtails emerging on the main cola. Looks to be a pretty decent yielder so far. Solid, dense top with thick lowers that all smell very "creamy" so far. This seems to come from a lot of the "Greases Pieces" crosses Ive grown. I cant say I smell much for the Herijuana just yet but its still early. Definitely a sweeter, creamier smell with this one. Nice frost production extending out onto the fan leaves. It has been a pretty easy feeder to date needing nothing more than what it shares with the other plants.

Aha I found the tell all haha. I should have checked out this post first. She definitely looks and sounds from your description like she is leaning to the Grease's Pieces side of things. I know that as the person who made this plant's parents fuck and make babies, I am a little biased, but she sure is pretty. I hope she finishes up nicely for you! Positive vibes...

"Skunky D" by: @Schwaggy P at approx 5.5 weeks

These things have been stinking pretty hard since veg. Pheno #1 is an absolute hog so far and will surely put out some notable weight. Its all offensive type smells on this one. Skunky, harsh oven cleaner/stainless polish that stings the nose. Pheno #2 on the other hand is sweeter, curdled milk smell. Like a Skunk #1 pheno that kinda reminds me of cheese, -but its not. Hard to describe but she certainly smells very pleasant. Hard to tell in the picture, but shes also trying to throw off some purple color as well while pheno #1 remains all green.

Those plants were so thick and nice I had to contact Schwaggy and see if there be another release so I could run more because unfortunately I couldn't get a clone ?. He said no plans of a release so if ya have em run them and love them like you'll never get another chance.. quality stuff!?

"Fr00ty B00ty" by @Bubby's n da lab @JGG at approx. 6 weeks

So far, this is one Im having a hard time putting into words what it is that Im smelling. Its not fruity, but it is giving sweeter notes. Im picking up a menthol but more like a sweet cough drop maybe? Whatever the smell is, its unique and strong! The resin on this is suuuper sticky too. I felt like spider man just learning to web after thumbing up the flowers a little bit. I had a few balls show up on the lowers early on but Im quite sure it was because I flipped it way too early. Plucked em and havent seen any since. Plenty of trichomes that reach out to the fan leaves. An easy feeder thats stacking really nice and looks to be well on its way to being a great yielder!
