Finishing up my first hydro run. Learned a TON, and am thrilled to get the next one going. This spot was filled to the brim with my 91 Mintz (chem 91 x iraqi mintz) and Dual OG (True OG x Banana OG) cuts I hunted from Strayfox and In House Genetics respectively.

In your experience, is there any major differences between end product when it comes to soil vs hydro growing?

This one was ran start to finish with House & Garden Nutrients, probably only vegged for 3 weeks, and both plants performed much differently than in my previous runs with them (the Dual OG considerably healthier and better looking).
Netting will be better on the next round, and ideally i'll have some washers in here so as to mitigate how much trimming this has brought to my table lol.

Happy Hunting!🤘

nothing that high-tech
You are stealing my best punchlines!

Phooey on hi-tech.
A brick works fine as a paperweight, doesn't matter if it's clay or gold.

I once saw a long horizontal sock as I was driving by a greenhouse. I got a close enough look to understand what I was seeing, I just had to let my brains stew on it for a while before I figured that's what it was.
This particular Greenhouse is owned by the municipality and I have seen them overwintering sensitive bulbs and perennials in there and also germinating bedding-out plants in the early spring. I assumed the sock was for co2, but it makes more sense now that it was delivering Heat.

Thank you, for taking the time to explain that to me. I did not know that this off the roll consumer product existed. ( the one I saw was quite industrial looking , at least 50 ft long and when deflated appeared to be made of silk, kind of like a Coleman lantern sock )
I can really see the advantages, as this system would facilitate laminar flow ie: high volume low pressure

Thanks for sharing. Take as many Plumbing photos as you please, I dig looking at that kind of stuff. 🐇
