No. 😂. my autobody mentor said the only good part of the pike is the end of the tail. I’m good on both of them tho, give me one of them pretty looking Lester fish or one them saltwater tasty fishes from ol ramjet

LOL it's OK bro. I haven't ever eaten either species myself. I mostly catch and eat Walleye, and Catfish. Catfish are harder to eat though because they're cute.

The attention to detail

Yeah, thats what got me.
We spend a lot of time down there, we were there yesterday.
Seeing it rendered in paint made me realize how much that place means to me.

I was hesitant to share the photo, but I am glad I did.

Great art is relatable. It is easier to admire, if it can be related to. There is a generic curiosity in that photo, and it is coming through in the painting.
I'm glad you guys can see it.

Would absolutely love to send you all a feed of our saltwater species if it was possible and on the flip side I’ve only tried our farmed rainbow trout from the fresh water side of things and I’m guessing being farmed on pellets it’s probably nothing like the real deal feeding in its natural environment.

Yeah, Salmon that you get in a restaurant, is dyed Red because the farmed kind doesn't get the Krill it naturally eats to give it that red coloration. You could always hop on your Dingo and bring some though We have a lot of Trout here, and Salmon. I don't target them, ever, but you could!

Never had Salmon or trout I liked..to fishy for even fish...Walleye ,Perch, crappie and bluegill is damn fine eating..Far as Catfish..The best way to eat that is put em on a wooden plank and slow smoke em...Once done throw away the nasty ass catfish and eat the plank🍻😉

You eat the bait but not the Catfish??? Bro... I know personal taste is how humans perceive food, but every time I've seen someone not like Catfish, it's because someone prepping it didn't cut out the mud vein that runs along the lateral line.

I have eaten and cleaned countless catfish...Piss poor flavor when compared to say walleye...Not even in the same league...Oh and ya walleye don't even have a trashy mud vein..I understand lots of ppl eat catfish..And i have to...personally Ive just never been that hungry to continue doing it

Yeah, I wasn't actually questioning your judgement or anything, but Catfish is easily a favorite. I mean don't get me wrong, being from here, I've eaten so many Walleye I've made the joke "eating like a Flathead", because I do love that, and Perch too. Honestly I've not eaten fish that was fresh, that I didn't like, but I really love it. I did finally try some Bluegill a few years ago, and loved it too honestly.

TBH.,I love the pattern on the the top of the fish,.amazing, beautiful, camouflage...from the sky. ...such an awesome fish..and very hard to catch. ...hope to catch more this season...hope that we do this again for 2024.

Hey bro, if you enjoy some of the beauty of some of the fish we have, I really think you'd love seeing a Tiger Musky! Basically it's a Pike and a Musky bred together, and they are SO pretty. I've also seen a baby Platinum Musky (pure white) and, of course, there's a multitude of Catfish from the Amazon with that Leopard / Jaguar Print I love so much
