In Bloom
I'm still considering fan options for my 3x3x6 tent. Right now it has a 4" fan pulling air out. I posted recently about having high temps and realized I had left the heat mats under the pots plugged in (DOH!) so things are much better now, but I'd still like to bring it down a few more degrees. For reference, I was seeing temps, with the mats plugged in, of 86-88F, and now they're in the very low 80s, like 80-82F, at least below 80F.
I'm wondering if I could swap around some fans I have on hand. Would there be any problems with using a 6" fan to push air in, a small 4" exhaust fan (which is currently in use on the little 2x2x4 tent), along with a few of the other vents open a bit? I would then move the regular 4" fan to the smaller tent. This would move the 3x3 tent from a bit of negative pressure to positive pressure. I don't know whether or not that would be a problem. The humidity level right now in that 3x3 is in the 40%-something range.
On another note, my bumbling continues. Yesterday I was checking on the plant hanging to dry in the little tent. I have a tray of water in the tent to get a bit more humidity. Last night the water was low so I pulled it out to add some at the sink that's within arm's reach. Sure enough, I accidently tipped the top bud (hanging the lowest with the plant upside down) in the water, while it's a week into drying. Ugh. Hopefully that will dry out within a few more days along with the rest of the plant for trimming.
