How long can you leave the clones in a cloner like that?

Do you add any kinda nutrients?

How long can you grow them in the box for?

Can I leave them in there for weeks? Months? Sometimes things get out of hand and theres just no room!

@LittleDabbie i only use tap water in mine . I change the reservoir every 5 days and when i do i add a shot of Clear rez to keep the nasties away. I only leave mine in for two weeks but you can go longer. I would think after 3 weeks your roots would start to tangle with each other. I do not use a dome and only mist once or twice a day until roots appear. My tap water is filtered down to 95 ppm so that gives them plenty of nutrients once the roots show. Hope this helps. One other thing when i change my rez i just lift the top with one hand and stick the shop vac into the rez with the other and i have my new water ready to pour. Wala 60 second reservoir change

Right on More less do mine the same, Tho i have it set on a 30 on 30 off timer to keep the pump cool, Keeps the res temps below 74 this way, without it they jump to well over 85 :\

I do use ClearRez but my next run i'll be buying 2 gallons of hypochlorus*Spelling..* Acid 500ppm in jugs for like 40$ alot fucking cheaper, tho considering switching to just bleach a few drops every cpl days..

I don't use a dome either My well water is something like 125ppm ph is like 8-9 tho so i have to ph down to around 6.

for res changes atm i just dump it in the tub run a quick bleach wash thru it and then rinse it out fill it back up ph to 6 and back to the light.

Takes less then 10 mins.

I think were on day 11 now in the cloner, got small roots showing but nothing hanging down or ready to plant yet thankfully cuz im not sure i got room for stuff atm lol

@LittleDabbie the room i run the cloner in stays between 70-75 degrees. I put a 6" clip on fan about 6" away from the outside of the reservoir. I run mine 24-7 and the rez temps stay at 75 degrees. I don't think that a fan will help 85 degrees though. The fan alone will drop my rez temps by as much as 3 degrees.

That is correct. Same EXACT ingredient as EZ Clone Clear Rez that sells for $20 a QT. Get your self a 1 lb bag of HTH Pool shock non PH buffered available online and most hardware stores (bought mine from Ace). Mix 1 GRAM (450 in the bag) per gallon of solution. Will make the SAME EXACT...

DIY UC Roots/Clear Rez

UC Roots and Clear Rez are just hypochlorous acid and a LOT of water. HTH Pool Shock is concentrated powder hypochlorous acid. Add 24 grams pool shock per gallon. Use 5 ml per 5 gallons to keep your reservoir or cloner sterile.
Alternately, use 4 drops off the shelf unscented landry bleach per gallon. 1 ml./5 gallons.
Those roots will sparkle!

I just diluted some bleach by putting a few drops into a 1g screw-top milk jug. I add 1-3ml to my 64 site cloner every couple of days and its popping off.
