How does the power draw compare to the unit that this new fan is replacing ?
Crunching the specs, there is a typo in the title.
0.5 horsepower would be closer to 400 watts.
They list 0.08 horsepower which is 1/ 12 hp NOT 1/2
Most online calculators put 60 watts at 1/12 horsepower
But, like you said, all a guy can do is plug it in and see how it blows your hair back.
I was rating it based on cfm power, looking at current I guess it’s not that strong . I’ll prolly get the 5-10k cfm in future
I didn’t mention this but I’m Not removing any wall mounted fans ( Inless broken ) , I’m adding more cause I want my room to have constant airflow everywhere but no wind stress to plants. my issue I can get it to work ( enough airflow ) but currently having many of the fans in my walk ways isn’t very favored.
i agree their specs are wrong but looks and reviews. It looks nice for the price and I might get the bigger specs of it after I do a lil testing of the fan.
current plan is I want min 2-4 more ceiling mounted fans ( + veg room needs 1-2 new fans as well), I’m just really sick of replacing fans every season hydro branded fans for obvious weakness . I realize u get what u pay for but come on I bought 8 commerical series and they were 200+ bucks, adds up and Iat her pay for more expensive versions and know the durability is there but also I’m not throwing all that waste cause of that.
there nice fans but Jesus Christ they def will break on you too quickly and it’s not like being unlucky batch, suggestion for anyone who does buy these kind of fans is make sure to even oil em monthly and have their mount on a balanced surface .

over half failed within a few months (not first time too) and their oscillating part is crap, for being semi well built why the fuck make that part so weak. I’m sure many feel this way but these companies got us by the balls on convenience and all in one. I get it but even if I had to pay more, give me some options mon lol
